Chobani House Is Coming

Move over Soho House, Chobani House is coming. The yogurt giant recently signed a deal to lease the entirety of 360 Bowery, the new 22-story, Morris Adjmi Architects–designed boutique office tower at the corner of East 4th Street. The company plans to turn the building’s 121,000 square feet into its new headquarters, a pretty significant upsize from its current setup — three floors at 200 Lafayette. “Chobani House offers a new vision for the urban office that is about much more than just running the business,” the company’s founder and head, Hamdi Ulukaya, said in a statement.

There were apparently other, smaller deals in the process at the building — which offers full-floor office suites, a gym, and wraparound terraces — but yogurt won out by taking the whole thing, per the Real Deal. Chobani is also trying to turn the building into some kind of Chobani United Nations, putting in a community kitchen, an innovation center for global food scientists, and an “incubator lab for non-governmental organizations and nonprofits.” (Whatever that means.) We assume that whoever landed that Chobani writer job that paid up to $278,400 a year will also be working in the yogurt tower. Happy for them.
