Cyber Monday is coming to an end, and with it a lot of the best iPad deals that we saw over the weekend. Stock is low (or nonexistent) on some deals in certain colours and configurations, but there are still savings to be grabbed if you're quick.
I've been covering iPad deals for six years, and I'm still impressed with the $200 discount on this year's M4 iPad Pro since it's unusual to see a discount of this size on such a new iPad. There are great deals on the M2 iPad Air, which has $100 off, but stock is now very patchy.

Save $150: The most powerful tablet has been given an extra $50 off bringing it down to the lowest ever price. Amazon also has a record price on the 13-inch tablet, now with $200 off. Both start with 256GB storage.
Save $100: This offer is on the latest iPad Air and is the best we've seen so far on this model. It's not as powerful as the Pro but the M2 chip will meet most people's needs and it's great for drawing with the Apple Pencil Pro. Storage capacity starts at 186GB.
Save $40: The latest iPad mini was only released in October, so we were delighted to spot this discount on a tablet that's smaller but more powerful than the basic iPad. This price is for the 128GB version but there's money off the movels with more storage too.
Save $70: The best Black Friday deal on this iPad was $259. That seems to have sold out, and there's little stock left at this price too, but it's worth checking to see if it comes back as we approach Cyber Monday. This is the entry-level iPad, which we gave four stars out of five in our iPad 2022 review.
Save £50: This deal is a substantial discount on the best 128GB iPad for those who want a great drawing experience and enough power for some creative work without needing the absolute power of the iPad Pro. This is my personal favourite iPad.
Save £40: This is a brand new iPad mini (2024) and so any deals are welcome. We loved this when we tested it out (we gave it four stars in our iPad mini 7 review) – it's surprisingly powerful and the perfect creative companion if you're on the go. This is for the 128GB version but there's 7% off the 246GB version as well.
Save £50: This version of the standard iPad comes with WiFi and 256GB memory. It's a decent size at 10.9-inches and is brilliant for general browsing/streaming, though it's not powerful enough to handle more demanding creative software. We gave this iPad 2022 four stars when we reviewed it. There's also $40 off the cheaper 64GB configuration, now £289.
Save £60: You can get an iPad even cheaper if you for the 2021 9th generation iPad. It's a bit older, but this is still a capable tablet for streaming, browsing and general entertainment and productivity. This price is on the 64GB version.
Save $95: Amazon has dropped the price of the AirPods Pro 2nd gen to a new record low ahead of Cyber Monday. These have excellent active noise cancellation and are water and sweat resistant.
Save $25: I use a magic keyboard with my iPad and it is incredibly useful. Typing on screen is never ideal – and having a trackpad helps too. Bear in mind that this Magic Keyboard does add to the heft/weight of your iPad.
Save $5: AirTags are great to pop in a bag that carries your iPad, to make sure that if you momentarily loose your bag, and your iPad isn't coming up in Find My, it'll be easy to retrieve. And they're a team favourite!

I'm a bit surprised retailers haven't held any deals back for today. To ensure the validity of the sales event model surely you need to keep something back until the end. For example that incredible offer on the iPad 10th gen that had it as low as $249 has now jumped back to $279 – such a shame as this was a truly ace offer.

Earlier this year we predicted that 2024 would be a huge year for the iPad, and indeed it has been. With the iPad Pro M4 upgrade, and new iPad Airs, PLUS finally seeing a new iPad mini (which we loved when we tested it), it's been a packed year for Apple.
It's worth considering whether it's time to pull the trigger on those deals you've been eyeing up. I'd say YES now is the time.
I'm fairly certain we would have seen deal changes by now if they were coming. And so now it's just a case of managing dwindling stock. Tomorrow most deals will go out of stock or return to the usual prices. SO if you're wanting a shiny new iPad then now's the time to buy.
What do you use your iPad for? If you're a digital artist it's likely you use Procreate or another drawing app to create art. If so, do you use the Apple Pencil? You could choose the official stylus from Apple or you could choose one of the best Apple Pencil alternatives.
Actually our favourite Apple Pencil alternative is the Logitech Crayon which has currently $49.99 at Amazon – that's 20% lower than usual. We love this option if you're using multiple tablets that aren't just Apple made, and we think it's comparable to the Apple Pencil 2 in functionality. The only issue is a lack of pressure sensitivity... but if that doesn't matter to you then it's a fab alternative. It's certainly more feature-filled than the most basic Apple Pencil USB-C which is more expensive.

The reason I mention Apple Watches is that, as I mentioned yesterday, I think what's really special about the Apple range is how seamlessly they all work together. It's incredibly hard to break out of the ecosystem – and why would you want to?
Anyway, back onto iPads. I use the M2 iPad Pro daily and can't recommend it enough. It's hard to find it on sale anywhere so might I suggest a refurbished model. You can find a renewed iPad Pro M2 on the Apple website. Same goes for a bunch of other iPad models. It's a great way to save money (and the environment).

Let's have a little look at accessories. I have a love hate relationship with my Apple Watch, I'm currently wearing it once more after a few months of going cold turkey. But the truth is I just like it for fitness tracking, and the integration with my iPhone is a bonus.
It really does everything I need it to do – tracks my activity, connects to my Peloton, displays my messages. Of course the Apple Watch 9 does more but I've never needed the extra capability.

As a late convert to the Apple Pencil, I'd like to take a second to highlight a small discount on the Apple Pencil USB.
I never really got it. As a non-digital artist, I never had much use for a stylus. That is until I gave it a go, and over time it became another cool way to interact with my iPad. It's good for scrolling, selecting and moving things, and it's fantastic if you hate the finger smudges that show up on your screen otherwise.
It's not essential (for non-artists), but it's still highly recommended.
Things are a lot steadier than the US. A lot of the best deals are coming from Very, like the 10th Gen iPad down from£329 to £289.
However, while those deals are steady, they're not as big as the US ones. The average is £50 off each iPad, which is good, but not great.
There's a chance that these deals will start heating up today, as this is the last day of the Black Friday / Cyber Monday event. Again, watch this space...

Still talking about US iPad deals here...
It's worth noting that the biggest dollar saving deal is still live, and has been all last week. That's the $200 you can get off the iPad Pro (13-inch, M4, 2024). That's because it was a whopping $1,299 and is still down to $1,099 at Amazon.
The biggest savings are nearly always on the most expensive devices, so it's no shock that the maxed out 13-inch Pro is the one to receive the best Cyber Monday deal so far. And I don't think that's going to change today...
A word of caution: if you're thinking of getting this souped up tablet, just be sure that you really need it. Strange for a deals writer to mention this, but I definitely don't want people spending that much money for a tablet that they don't actually need. This is for higher-end creative work. Good morning iPad deal seekers! I've logged on, taken stock, and made notes on all the changes that have occurred since Black Friday Sunday morphed into Cyber Monday. And there are some small yet notable shifts...
In short, one deal have regressed, one has got better, and one has disappeared!

But don't worry – this happens when deals transition from Black Friday to Cyber Monday. It may be a simple matter of marketing to us deals hunters, but I think retailers like Amazon do this to get people worried that the deals have gone, only to reintroduce them again and cause a stir. I'm wrapping up for tonight. I've just made one last sweep, and all of the deals and links listed above are no up-to-date as Cyber Monday begins. Prices are no better than during Black Friday, but we've come to expect that. Some colours and configurations have sold out, but there's still time to grab record-low prices on most iPads, including up to $200 off the M4 iPad Pro at Amazon US.

Back to iPads, there's no chance over in the US. Amazon's still leading on price on everything apart from the newest iPad of all, the new mini, which is $10 cheaper at B&H Photo.
Incidentally, our Design Editor Dan was very impressed with the new mini when he took it for a spin on release. In his review, he suggests that nobody should rule it out thinking that it will be underpowered because of its compact size (that's his hand above).
The same goes for MacBook Deals in the UK. Prices remain the same where there's still stock. Amazon's still winning on price on most models, including on this year's M3 MacBook Airs and the brand-new M4 MacBook Pro (there's only two left if you want to grab the 16-inch MacBook Pro with an M4 Pro chip, reduced by £269 to £2,629.90. That's a LOT better than what we tend to see on new MacBook Pros in the UK.

Yep, I've made a thorough check, and there has been no change in prices at midnight. All the UK Black Friday iPad deals are still live at Amazon and Very. Prices remain level on the standard iPad: £329 £289 for the 64GB configuration and £479 £429 for a 256GB SSD (although it's £10 more in blue in Amazon).
Meanwhile, in the UK, where it is now technically Cyber Monday, there's not a 'Cyber Monday' label in site on Amazon. Nor at Very or Curries. They're all still stubbornly calling it Black Friday. It seems the term still hasn't caught on over on that side of the Atlantic, which is fair enough. It's easier to call the whole thing Black Friday Week, after all the deals tend to stay the same.

Amazon has changed its deals labels on the site to read 'Cyber Monday' instead of Black Friday, but it's always a bit of a mystery how it chooses which deals to flag as specifically a Cyber Monday deal. None of the iPad deals on the site over the weekend were labelled as 'Black Friday', and they're not getting 'Cyber Monday' labels either.
But some of the MacBook deals on the site that have been around since Friday have now been given Cyber Monday labels. By the way, those record-low prices that we saw on this year's MacBook Airs are still going: up to 20% off the M3-chipped devices, both with 16GB RAM.
A great iPad app to consider if you're interested in animation is Procreate Dreams. It applies the same approach of Procreate to 2D animation, making it much more accessible to people who don't have experience of animation software. It's recently been nominated as iPad App of the Year, and we can see why. See our Procreate Dreams review.

Still on the topic of drawing, we've got plenty of suggestions of which apps to go for once you've got you iPad. Procreate tops our guide to the best iPad apps for drawing. It's great value and provides a super flexible range of tools for drawing, as well as 3D painting tools. But there are plenty of options depending on what exactly you want to do, including dedicated iPad version of popular Adobe apps.
Speaking of Apple Pencil, remember that not every Apple stylus is compatible with every iPad far from it. The one stylus that offers broad compatibility across the range is the Apple Pencil USB-C, but that stylus lacks some of the more advanced features of the Apple Pencil 2 and Apple Pencil Pro, including no pressure sensitivity.
You can consult our Apple Pencil comparison article to get full details of each stylus, but very basically, if you're buying one of this year's iPads (the M4 Pro, M2 Air or A17 mini), you'll want the Apple Pencil Pro if you're planning to use the tablet for drawing. If you have an older Pro or Air, then you're likely to need Apple Pencil 2, and if you have the standard 10th-gen iPad, the original first-gen Apple Pencil is your stylus.

So, considering that these Cyber Monday iPad deals are unlikely to be beaten – and that some are selling out, which one to go for? The iPad line up sometimes seems overly complex, but I think it's actually fairly simple.
Basically if you want an tablet for browsing, watching films or basic office work, emails etc, go for the standard iPad (10th Gen). It's the cheapest option, and it does the job just fine.
If you want an iPad for drawing in Procreate or maybe relatively light creative work like photo editing, I'd go for this year's M2 iPad Air with Apple Pencil Pro.
And if you want to be able to run more demanding creative software without breaking a sweat (for example video editing, Photoshop in workflows that use lots of layers), you'll probably find yourself a lot happier spending more for the iPad Pro.
Both of those are record low prices in the UK. In fact, the best price on the AirPod Pro 2 until now was £189 way back in February. Since then, it's never been cheaper than £199.

Some of the best deals on iPad accessories are selling out too. In the US, the Apple Pencil Pro is gone at Amazon, which now only has used stock. The good news is that Best Buy now has the same Cyber Monday deal price of just $99 – that's $30 off the newest and most sophisticated Apple Pencil for this year's iPad Pro, Air and mini.
Amazon's record-low price of $154 on the AirPods Pro 2 also briefly disappeared, but it's back again. Hurrah!

Thinks are still looking a bit sparse on the standard iPad. Apple only has the base 64GB SSD version in stock in pink, and at $279, not the previous record price of $259. There are more options in the 256GB configuration.
As for the larger 13-inch iPad Air, the deal price is still showing as out of stock in Purple and Stalight in the base configuration.

Stock is still bouncing around a bit at Amazon US. Three of the four colours of the 11-inch iPad Air had sold out, but they're now back in stock – and still at the Black Friday sale price of $499! I expect that this will be the sale price for Cyber Monday too if the new stock holds up.

One of the most surprising things about Black Friday/Cyber Monday this period is been that Very has beaten Amazon on some deals.
Ok so there's not a big difference, but we've historically seen Amazon have the lowest iPad prices so this is interesting. We wonder if this will change on Cyber Monday proper. Either way, we'll be letting you know.

In terms of apps, our absolute favourite for the iPad is Procreate. It provides an intuitive and seamless drawing experience. I recently showed it to my friend's five-year-old and she got to grips with it straight away, and delighted in playing around with it, using my M1 (2021) iPad Pro and Apple Pencil 2.

My favourite is probably this iPad Air 11-inch bargain. You can get a 128GB iPad for just $499 at Amazon. I think that's a really great offer for such a new machine. Pair it with an Apple Pencil and you're sorted.
Another accessory that you'll probably want to pair with your new iPad is the Magic Keyboard. Amazon has 25% off one that is compatible with iPad Pro 11-inch (1-4th gen) and iPad Air (4th, 5th gen and M2).
The Apple Pencil Pro, which works on just the newest iPads, is down from £129 to £109 at Amazon. Both of these offers are the lowest prices we've ever seen on Amazon.
I've tested out various iPads over the years, but the one I use regularly is the 2021 iPad Pro 11-inch. Yes, with its M1 chip its a little long in the tooth, but I honestly find it more than adequate for my needs.
I mostly use it for reading online magazines and Procreate, with some occasional photo editing on Affinity Photo and a bit of streaming and I've never had a problem with it, though it is fairly heavy once you add on the Magic Keyboard.
There are some great offers on this older iPad at the moment. If you don't mind a renewed model you can get one for just £462.69 (down from £539.99) at Amazon when you buy today.

There's something that I both love and hate about the iPads. I love the Magic Keyboards that work with them, and I hate how expensive they are to get.
The thing is, I used the iPad Pro over a few months, and having the Magic Keyboard really gave a new dimension to the experience. Turning your powerful tablet to a super responsive laptop and back again, is a really cool thing. But as mentioned before – I didn't have to buy either the tablet or the keyboard. So would I get the latter if it was coming out of my wallet?
Well, at $299, I would be hesitant. But the official Apple Magic Keyboard isn't your only option. Logitech does the Combo Touch keyboard that is nearly half that price.
It's a backlit keyboard with a decent trackpad, and though I haven't used it, our sister site Tom's Guide highly recommends it. And it's on sale!
How does 2024 compare in iPad deals to previous years? It's... OK.
What I like about this Black Friday and Cyber Monday is that aaaall the iPads have consistently been discounted. There hasn't been a moment over the last week or so that there hasn't been at least £50/$50 off any one model. That's pretty unique to 2024, as previously there have been lulls in between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, where prices have reset.
However, I have seen larger discounts in previous years. Currnetly the biggest discount that I can find is $200 off the 13-inch iPad Pro (M4). That is, the most expensive iPad! Down from £1,299 to $1,099 is good. But it's not for most people.
Everywhere else I'm seeing $50 / $100 off all models. That's a little disappointing, especially when I remember $150/$200 being taken off the Airs and classic iPads last year (even for a brief time). Maybe that time will come tomorrow, on Cyber Monday. Keep posted!
If you aren't bothered about M chips and the most recent iPad releases, and all you want is a good iPad at a very decent price... let me introduce you to the 9th Gen classic iPad.
No, it doesn't have the sweet flat edges of all the new iPads. Its edges are rounded. And no, there's nothing pastel-chic about its looks. You get it in dark grey and silver.
But for a house tab, that will be moving from hands to grubby hands, the 9th Gen iPad is peerless. That's because it's a capable tablet for streaming and browsing. But best of all, it's just $199! It's one of the best recurring deals this Black Friday / Cyber Monday week.
When it comes to my favourite iPad – and the one that I would recommend to the majority of users – it has to be the iPad Air (M2).
I'm not a video editor and I don't work in 3D, so the power of the iPad Pro is overkill for me. I still loved my time with the Pro, and it was excellent as a gaming device. But that was a review model, not something I had to put my own money towards.
If I were to buy an iPad right now, it would be the 11-inch M2 Air with 128GB (so, the cheapest of the options of Air). It's currently down from £599 to £559 at Amazon.
That's because the extra two inches isn't really worth the extra money in my mind. The 128GB is enough for me, with most things I do being on the cloud. And yet you get enough power from the M2 chip to tear through browsing and streaming, and any mid-level creative work. The screen is absolutely lovely too.
All together, it's the strongest iPad on the market.
When it first came out, I wasn't sure about it. Not because it was bad. It was beautiful – a big leap forward in design from the 9th Gen iPad. It also has a perfectly positioned camera in the middle of the landscape bezel. And with amped up insides, it became a proposition for digital artists...
The reason I wasn't sure about it was the asking price took it away from the usual price bracket of the classic iPad. This deal brings it back, so I can wholeheartedly recommend it (at last).

Now, I'm not saying that iPads can compete with PCs, or laptops. A brief glance at the most powerful laptops out there will melt any face considering such folly. Yes the iPad Pro has the M4 chip. But with semi-skimmed iPad versions of software, compared with the full fat versions found on laptops and PCs, it's not really making full use of it.
But the beauty of the iPad is its versatility, and it's effectiveness as an accompanying bit of kit, alongside a primary PC or lappy. And in the case or software like Procreate, it offers a unique creative output that you can't find anywhere else.
The way we work has changed over the years (well, duh!) Since remote working caught on, portable devices like laptops and capable tablets have replaced the stationary PC. That's a good and bad thing.
Good, because suddenly my office can be pretty much anywhere I choose in the city I live in (pub? Well, go on then!) And with tablets like the iPad Pro (M4) – which has £70 sliced off its price over at Very – offering power comparable to many smaller PCs, let alone other laptops, writers, editors, photographers... pretty much any creative can take advantage of them
It's bad for the one-time great iMac. I seriously love the look of the new M4 iMac. But when you've got an 11-inch tablet that has the same chip set as it, it's hard not to think of it as an old idea in a shiny new dress.

One of the things that got me with Apple products is the seamless ecosystem the brand creates. It is annoying, actually, because recently I wanted to upgrade my phone and I love the look of Samsung's Galaxy AI features. But I looked at my iPad, MacBook, Apple Watch, Pencil and AirPods and knew I couldn't make the switch. So I've gone Sim-only for a while due to expense and I'm hanging on to my iPhone 14.
It is super clever of a brand to make that happen - with the integration of notes and data storing across devices it just makes sense to keep Everything Apple. Well done Apple for a brilliant strategy execution but man does it keep you hooked.

It's useful to know that many retailers have been running price promises on any sales that have been running so far. These include Best Buy in the US, as well as Argos in the UK. That means any further price reductions you buy products for so far will be honoured so you're guaranteed not to miss out if you buy now and things change. I'm obsessed with the AirPods Pro 2 deal that sends the price down to a record-low of $154 in the US at Amazon – that's 38% off. I actually think they're now well worth the extra $30 from the AIrPods 4 deal thats running, because of their superior sound. The AirPods 4 have some brilliant features but the sound is just 'decent' rather than mind-blowingly immersive. I should know as I've used both.

Seeing big discounts on Apple's newest tablets isn't always a given. This year there are price reductions on the newest M4 iPad range, which is good news if you want the newest tech of course, but it does say something about Apple's changing approach to selling its latest releases. With a frequent update cycle on all of its kit, including iPads and MacBooks, Apple has a lot more stock and a lot more need to sell it. Though I love the new innovations and seeing what the tech giant has next for its customer base, there is going to be some level of fatigue amongst its user base, as well as a lack of funds to keep up. So earlier sales are necessary. And actually the newer models have got cheaper at launch, which further proves the point. Anyway, it's easier than ever to get a cheaper, newer model, if you need or want one.

Things haven't changed as much in the UK iPadscape this morning. There are still some models on which Very is beating Amazon, which is surprising and makes me think that Amazon has some further price reductions up its very large sleeves to compete. It's rare we don't see the cheapest prices at Amazon, especially in the UK, as other retailers don't have the same clout to adjust prices constantly.
Well. As expected some deals have changed overnight.
The M2 iPad Air, which had got more expensive as we signed off last night, has now returned to its biggest discount of the sale – a lovely $100 off at Amazon. For an iPad that does the job incredibly well in a beautifully sleek package, that's a brilliant price.
And the iPad mini 7 (the newest, smallest member of the iPad family) has got a lovely $50 discount at BH Photo, another price that was higher last night when we finished our day in the UK.

Good morning deal hunters! We're kicking off this fine Sunday in the UK nice and early by checking out whether all these lovely deals are still around. With Black Friday well and truly behind us and Cyber Monday deals dropping at many retailers, there is still lots of new excitement to be had.
Historically Cyber Monday has been hit and miss in terms of new deals, sometimes there are bigger discounts to be had (last year was an example of this) but other years we've seen little to no price movement. So it's extra important you let us guide you through the process today with our expert eyes.

Turning the focus back to the US now that the UK's going to sleep, I think the best deal still in stock is Amazon's $200 off the M4 iPad Pro, Apple's most powerful tablet yet and a veritable laptop killer too. This is a tablet that can handle video editing even with 4K footage. It was released in May, and until now the biggest discount we had seen was $150. The current deal is very likely to be as good as it gets this year since iPad Pros rarely fall much in price.

Amazon's being beaten on price on the new iPad mini in the UK too. This side of the ocean, it's Very that's giving the stiffest competition. It's beating Amazon's price on the standard 10th Gen iPad and on the 11-inch M4 iPad Pro too (the super slim tablet pictured above), and it's matching it on the 11-inch M2 iPad Air.
in terms of retailers, Amazon still winning on price in the US for almost all iPad models (Best Buy is matching it in some cases). The one exception is on the new iPad mini released last month. It did have $100 off, but that deal has now gone. Amazon now has just $30 off, while B&H Photo is offering $40 off, making it the best option for what is the newest iPad.
It's always worth checking for yourself too. We're making regular manual sweeps of all the main retailers, and we have automatic price trackers too, but Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals can come and go and come back again. And even after years of tracking, we can never entirely predict the inventory at the likes of Amazon and Best Buy. For example, that 10th-gen iPad deal at $259 sold out yesterday but was briefly back in stock for a time this morning before it sold out again.

I've just completed a new sweep of all the retailers that we're tracking, and I've updated our list of the best pre-Cyber Monday iPad deals above accordingly. Stock remains limited on iPad Airs with $100 off at Amazon US, and the record low price on the 10th-gen iPad has gone – stock's gone completely in most colours, but it's still available in pink for $279. That's not as good as the Black Friday price of $249, but it's still a saving of 20%.
Okay back to Apple itself! If you want some recommendations for apps to use on your iPad, we've got those here on site. Try the best drawing apps for iPad, for example. I know Procreate has been mentioned but there are a host of other digital art apps available too and all are uniquely appealing depending on your art style and preferences.
I'm not the best artist so I've been enjoying Art Workout. It gives me challenges to develop my drawing skills (which are a bit of a family joke, to be honest). I've definitely improved a bit – and my daughter has been doing it alongside me. She is way better than me though, I can't deny it. Did I mention she's 7?

Sorry we know that's sacrilege on an Apple blog but Samsung is actually running a really impressive set of deals. The trade-in offers are insane so if you're thinking of making the switch and have a previous device to trade in, you can get a real bargain. Our ecom editor Beth has tried it out and absolutely LOVES it.
Of course, you don't have to get a new iPad if you want to a) save more money and b) be a bit more environmentally conscious. There are a ton of refurbished models across a range of retailers. Amazon, Best Buy and Walmart are all places you can get a renewed and certified iPad for less. For example, right now, you could grab a 2020 iPad Air for $293.91 from Amazon.
You don't have to worry about the issues with buying a second hand device because they come with assurances, so it is a great way to save some extra pounds/ dollars.
Or you could go straight to a specialist website like Backmarket, which only sells refurbished technology.

So, you've got your new iPad and you're wondering how to use it. We've got a huge library of helpful iPad content. Actually that $100 could get you most of the AirPods 4 because they're currently reduced to a really quite nice and only $1 off lowest price ever, just $119 at Amazon. I know that's only $10 off but they are the newest ones and there are some very cool features (see more on those below).
I'll be honest, though I use the MacBook M2 every day, and the iPad M2 (and the iPhone 14, shh I don't have the newest one yet), I never got the hype with AirPods. I just used a pair of earbuds that were slightly less money and I never understood why I'd need to totally Apple-ify my whole tech setup.
But then I was given some AirPods to try out and boy does Apple do well do make you want to buy totally into its ecosystem. It reads your messages guys. And you shake your head to make it, well, stop. And nod to make it keep going. I can't even. The sound is pretty decent. It isn't the best I've ever tried but it's certainly more than good enough, and the extra features and the current price mean I have no hesitation in recommending them!
Or if you're feeling fancy you could take advantage of this INCREDIBLE deal on the AirPods Pro (2nd gen). They are at a record-low price, now just $154 down from $269 at Amazon. Wow. That is what Black Friday/Cyber Monday is alllll about.
I am also highlighting this $100 off the new iPad Air range. It's a fantastic, powerful tablet that will serve most creative types very well indeed. It's sleek, thin and it has a wonderful screen. If I didn't already have the iPad Pro M2 then this is the one I'd be looking at buying – it's certainly a tad more portable than my powerhouse of a Pro-level iPad.
Imagine what you could do with that extra $100! You could put it towards some AirPods, for example, and get most of them (or one for your favourite ear anyway). More on AirPods to come....
I do also want to recommend some accessories to you. Because having an iPad is great, but if you've got extra tools you can really make the most of it, especially if you're a digital artist. To be honest even my daughter makes the most out of the Apple Pencil 2 (she's 7) as she really loves colouring in on my iPad.
She may not make the most of all of the features but she certainly uses it frequently, and way prefers it to her finger (or a real pen and paper, to be honest). And our digital art editor also uses his Apple Pencil 2 daily – possibly slightly more professionally.

I'm actually quite surprised that so far this weekend we've seen some price movement. I was joking with the team about the Good Old Days of Black Friday/Cyber Monday weekend, and how it used to involve Flash sales we'd be scrambling to cover. In recent years it's been some so-so deals that are introduced on Friday (or before) and stay put for the weekend. But I've see some changes already this weekend, such as the further price drop on that iPad 10 for example.
This does mean I think deals will sell out though, as retailers are being agile to try to convince you to buy. So do stay tuned and make sure you press buy if you see a price that appeals to you.

You might be wondering how we double and triple check that the advice we are offering you is accurate. Well, we mostly use our incredible knowledge, obviously, but we also have some tools at our disposal. Want to know our secrets? Okay then, since you asked so nicely.
One tool we use that you can jump on yourselves for this sales event (or at any time) is The Camelizer. This is a price history comparison tool, that comes in the form of a website and a handy browser extension. It only works for Amazon, but that does give you a pretty thorough picture of what prices have done in the history of a product. And usually Amazon matches the cheapest prices found elsewhere (except on Nintendo Switch but that's another gripe for another blog).
All you have to do is either enter the product on The Camelizer website, or click on the extension when on an Amazon listing page. And a handy graph pops up that shows you how the prices have tracked since the product was released! Voila!

I've been alongside the team this weekend searching and searching for the tiniest price fluctuations to try to save you as much money as possible. I've been doing this for six years so I understand the tips and tricks that can save you extra money over sales events.
One thing I'm seeing a lot is the addition of a coupon to save a bit more money over at Amazon. That's true at the moment on this standout deal on the iPad 10th generation, which has never seen such lows when you add on the extra $9.01 coupon. It's an iPad that changed the game when it was released, and actually confused us a bit in its power and price – after all this was the basic iPad and it was quite expensive indeed. But this deal more than solves that problem, and though it's a couple of years old now, it is still a very capable tablet that will work for the majority of users.
Of course, if you're a power user you'll need something more.. well.. powerful. But this is a lovely iPad with a fab screen. And it's $249 at Amazon!

I did in fact buy myself a tablet this Black Friday, but it wasn't made by Apple or Samsung...
There's still an incredible Black Friday deal on the Honor Magic Pad 2 with $100/£100 off, and it includes 2 free accessories: the Magic Pencil 3 stylus, plus a premium keyboard case cover all for just £399. The reason I bought this tablet was for its gorgeous 12.3-inch OLED display, with a refresh rate of 144Hz and 1,600 nits of peak brightness.
I'll be honest...I'm really not the biggest fan of Apple tech, as the resident Samsung user on Creative Bloq. I own the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra as my smartphone of choice, and I've preferred mostly Android devices from a young age.

Most people aren't aware that Apple actually offers student discounts, and these education offers also extend to teachers, and parents of students too. Discounts are available all year round, and usually offer excellent prices on more popular Apple products including the latest iPad Pro M4 series.
The amount you can save with Apple's student discount offers depends on the products, and time of year with back-to-school sales being the biggest hit. We've also found that Apple's student discount is great for new products, but not so much for older models. Most last-gen Apple devices have better discounts at other retailers, so keep this in mind in when price comparing this Cyber Monday.

Quick story time: I recently went with my dad to our local CeX store and helped him trade-in my mum's older iPhone generation models towards getting a new iPad. He's never owned one before, and mainly wanted a larger screen to stream content and check his emails. We ended up leaving the store with a secondhand iPad 10th generation model (and we got a real bargain on it too).
The reason I'm sharing this is because not everyone wants or needs the latest shiny iPad model, and shopping for older tech, especially renewed/refurbished iPads is a great way to save money and help the recommerce economy too.
