If there's one part of Halloween we had to say is our favorite, it would definitely be the costumes. Sure, we love the front porches decked in pumpkins and all the spooky decorations, but it's hard to resist not going all out when it comes to costumes. From little ones dressed in their trick-or-treating best to coordinated costumes that get the whole family involved, there's just too much fun (and sometimes spookiness) to handle. But as you're putting together that cute costume, there's one family member you absolutely don't want to forget: your dog!
Let's be honest: the only thing cuter than a dog in a costume is a baby in a costume...maybe. Whether you plan to dress up with your dog or let him or her be the star of the show this Howl-oween, all of these ideas are winners in our book. Looking for a last-minute costume? No problem! We've never seen a better use of a cone of shame. Grab some green felt and make your own palm fronds or buy some artificial ones to easily DIY this costume. Don't have a Pomeranian? Make your dog the tree and you can go as a tree hugger!
