Two faculty members receive presidential awards
Honors from the White House underscored that the college is home to some of the nation's top engineering talent. Mashrur “Ronnie” Chowdhury, Eugene Douglas Mays Chair of Transportation, received the Presidential Award for Excellence in Science, Mathematics and Engineering Mentoring. Associate professor Cheng Sun, won the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers.
