Tom Holland spontaneously bought a puppy without asking his girlfriend Zendaya.
The 28-year-old star - who is believed to have started dating the 'Euphoria' actress in 2021 after they met on the set of 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' five years earlier - confessed to purchasing a furry friend on a whim without consulting his partner.
In an interview with LADbible, he said: "I bought a dog the other day and did not run it by my girlfriend at all.
"I seem to remember running it by her - but I didn't because I'm really spontaneous."
When asked how his puppy purchase went down, Tom replied: "Fine!"
Despite not being transparent with his 28-year-old lover, he feels "very lucky" and blessed to have her and his family and friends in his life.
He added: "I am most grateful for the people that I am surrounded by - my family, my friends, my girlfriend."
The British actor jokingly branded his girlfriend as "really rude" as he recalled her confessing to hating Jaffa Cakes when the pair took part in a joint interview with the outlet in 2021.
Tom added: "I think that was really rude.
"She had a good opportunity to win over the British public there, and she failed.
"Bless her, that's so horrible to say - I'm joking."
Meanwhile, Tom has vowed to "disappear" from the spotlight once he has a family of his own as he'll be content with being around his kids and playing golf.
He told Men's Health magazine: "When I have kids, you will not see me in movies anymore.
"Golf and dad. And I will just disappear off the face of the earth."

A Melania Trump documentary from director Brett Ratner will be released by Amazon
Melania documentary
Incoming first lady Melania Trump will be the subject of a new documentary directed by Brett Ratner and distributed by Amazon Prime Video. The streaming arm of the tech giant got exclusive licensing rights for a streaming and theatrical release later this year, the company said Sunday.
Filming is already underway on the documentary. The company said in a statement that the film will give viewers an “unprecedented behind-the-scenes look” at Melania Trump and also promised a “truly unique story.”
The former and now future first lady also released a self-titled memoir late last year. Her husband takes office on Jan. 20.
The film is the latest connection between Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Donald Trump. The company in December announced plans to donate $1 million to the President-elect’s inauguration fund, and said that it would also stream Trump’s inauguration on its Prime Video service, a separate in-kind donation worth another $1 million.
The two men had been at odds in the past. During his first term, Trump criticized Amazon and railed against the political coverage at The Washington Post, which Bezos owns. But he’s struck a more conciliatory tone recently as Amazon and other tech companies seek to improve their relationship with the incoming president.
In December, Bezos expressed some excitement about potential regulatory cutbacks in the coming years and said he was “optimistic” about Trump’s second term.
Bezos in October did not allow the Post to endorse a presidential candidate, a move that led to tens of thousands of people canceling their subscriptions and to protests from journalists with a deep history at the newspaper. This weekend, a cartoonist quit her job after an editor rejected her sketch of the newspaper’s owner and other media executives bowing before the president-elect.
The film also marks the first project that Ratner has directed since he was accused of sexual misconduct by multiple women, including actor Olivia Munn, in the early days of the #MeToo reckoning in November 2017. Ratner, whose lawyer denied the allegations, directed the “Rush Hour” film series, “Red Dragon” and ’’X-Men: The Last Stand.”
Fernando Sulichin, an Argentine filmmaker, is executive producing the film, which began shooting in December.
Melania Trump, Donald Trump’s third wife, has been an enigmatic figure since her husband announced he was running in the 2016 election. She had sought to maintain her privacy even as she served as first lady, focusing on raising their son, Barron, and promoting her “Be Best” initiative to support the “social, emotional, and physical health of children.”
While she appeared at her husband’s campaign launch event for 2024 and attended the closing night of the Republican National Convention this summer, she has otherwise stayed off the campaign trail, though the demands of again being first lady may dictate a higher public profile after Inauguration Day.
How to watch the Golden Globes and red carpet fashions before the show
Golden Globes on tonight
Hollywood is getting dressed up as the Golden Globes are returning for their annual champagne-soaked celebration of film and television that serves as the ceremonial start to awards season.
Here's what you need to know about the 82nd annual Golden Globe Awards, including how to watch, stream and follow along live with Sunday's happenings from the show at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California, hosted by comedian Nikki Glaser.
When does the Golden Globes start and how can I watch?
CBS is airing the Golden Globes live across the country for the second year. The show starts at 8 p.m. Eastern and 5 p.m. Pacific on Sunday. CBS is available with an antenna or through cable and satellite providers.
The network's NFL football coverage will be the lead-in and could last until near showtime. “60 Minutes” will be pre-empted, but the news show will return Jan. 12.
How do I stream the Golden Globes?
Paramount+ users with the Showtime add-on can stream the Golden Globes live. Other Paramount+ subscribers can stream the show the next day.
The Globes can also be watched through live TV streaming services that include CBS in their lineup, like Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV or FuboTV.
How can I watch the red carpet?
Variety and “Entertainment Tonight” are teaming up for the official red carpet pre-show, which will air on the outlets' websites, www.goldenglobes.com, and Paramount+. Their show, hosted by Variety's Marc Malkin and “E.T.'s" Rachel Smith, begins at 6:30 p.m. Eastern.
And after taking a year off, E! will return to covering the fashion fiesta of the Globes red carpet, with a show starting at 6 p.m.
Backstage once the show starts, The Associated Press will livestream Globe winners speaking to reporters backstage at the show, beginning at 8:15 p.m. Eastern.
Who's nominated for the Globes?
"Emilia Perez," director Jacques Audiard’s audacious musical about a Mexican drug lord who undergoes gender affirming surgery, is the leading nominee.
It's nominated for best picture, musical or comedy, along with “Wicked” and “Anora,” and its stars Zoe Saldana, Karla Sofía Gascón and Selena Gomez are nominated in the acting categories.
Nominees for best picture, drama, include “The Brutalist” and “A Complete Unknown.” Their stars, Adrien Brody and Timothée Chalamet are nominated for best actor in a drama.
“The Bear” led all nominees on the TV side with five, followed closely by “Shogun” with four.
And Viola Davis and Ted Danson will get lifetime achievement awards.

The Golden Globes are Sunday night. Here's five things to look for and how to watch them
Golden Globes tomorrow
After a rocky few years and the disbanding of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, the Golden Globes have seemingly stabilized. Now the question is: Can they still put on a good show?
The 82nd Golden Globes, beginning Sunday night at 8 p.m. EST, will hope to rekindle some of the frothy comic energy of the days when Ricky Gervais or Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hosted. Last year's comeback edition, hosted by Jo Koy, was widely panned, but it delivered where it counted: Ratings rebounded to about 10 million viewers, according to Nielsen. CBS signed up for five more years.
This time, comedian Nikki Glaser will be emceeing the ceremony from the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California. The Globes, now owned by Todd Boehly's Eldridge Industries and Dick Clark Productions, will be broadcast live by CBS and available to stream live for subscribers to Paramount+ with Showtime beginning at 8 p.m. Eastern.
While Glaser doesn't have as widely seen contenders as last year, when “Oppenheimer” and “Barbie” were the headliners, the show does promise about as much star power as Hollywood can muster. Nominees including Zendaya, Timothée Chalamet, Angelina Jolie, Daniel Craig, Denzel Washington, Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo and Selena Gomez.
Jacques Audiard's Netflix musical “Emilia Pérez” comes in as the lead nominee, with 10 nods, followed by Brady Corbet's postwar epic “The Brutalist,” with seven, and Edward Berger's papal thriller “Conclave,” with six. Among the top-nominated series are “The Bear,” “Shogun" and “Only Murders in the Building.”
Here are a few things to look for heading into Sunday's Globes:
Will Timothée Chalamet win his first Globe?
The best actor in a drama category is a bruiser, with a field of Ralph Fiennes ("Conclave"), Adrien Brody ("The Brutalist"), Daniel Craig ("Queer"), Colman Domingo ("Sing Sing"), Sebastian Stan ("The Apprentice") and Chalamet, for the Bob Dylan film “A Complete Unknown.” While Fiennes or Brody might take it, a win for Chalamet would be the first major award for the 29-year-old star — and surely would get the Oscar talk going.
How soon until someone mentions Hollywood's biggest feud?
Just days before the Globes, Blake Lively sued “It Ends With Us” director Justin Baldoni and several others tied to the romantic drama, alleging harassment and a coordinated campaign to attack her reputation for coming forward about her treatment on the set. Baldoni, who has denied it, joined in a suit accusing The New York Times for libel in its story on her allegations.
Whether or not any of this gets mentioned on the Beverly Hilton Ballroom stage, it will surely be on the minds of many attendees. Among the nominees for box-office achievement is “Deadpool & Wolverine,” which star and was co-produced by Ryan Reynolds, Lively's husband. Glaser, whose sharply barbed jokes at a roast of Tom Brady helped catapult her to this moment, isn't known for biting her tongue.
How will ‘Wicked’ fare?
“Emilia Pérez” may have be favored over “Wicked” for the best comedy or musical award, but Jon M. Chu’s theatrical hit is also in the mix for the Globes’ nascent cinematic box office achievement award. Either, or both, of the leading ladies of ”Wicked” could also win: Erivo in the leading actress category, and Grande in supporting.
Will politics play a starring role?
The Globes, taking place about two weeks before the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump, could get very political if presenters and winners are so inclined to continue what's been a mutually antagonistic relationship between Hollywood and Trump. That may be unlikely, though; so far in Hollywood's awards season, most nominees have tried to stay out of the fray.
That's with a major exception, though, in “The Apprentice,” the young Trump drama starring Sebastian Stan and Jeremy Strong. Both were nominated by the Globes. Stan was also nominated a second time for his performance in “A Different Man.”
Is there an Oscar frontrunner?
It's been an unusually uncertain awards season so far in many respects. No one movie has really stepped forward as the leading best picture contender, though several films — including “Conclave,” “Anora,” “Wicked," “Emilia Pérez” and “The Brutalist” — can all make a decent case. The Globes don't typically do much to sort out the field, but a strong showing from any of the above could add fuel to their Oscar campaign.
Indie filmmaker Jeff Baena, Aubrey Plaza's husband, found dead at Los Angeles residence
Plaza's husband found dead
Indie filmmaker Jeff Baena, who was married to his frequent creative collaborator Aubrey Plaza, has died. He was 47.
Baena was found dead around 10:30 a.m. Friday at a Los Angeles home, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office. The circumstances remained unclear Saturday. The office said that it was investigating and a full report wouldn't be available until the case is closed.
A representative for Plaza responded to a request for comment with a link to a story about Baena's death on the entertainment industry news site Deadline.
Baena co-wrote David O. Russell's 2004 film “I Heart Huckabees” and wrote and directed five of his own films, mostly dark comedies. Plaza starred in his directorial debut, the 2014 zombie comedy “Life After Beth,” and appeared in two of his other films: “The Little Hours” and “Spin Me Round.”
Plaza, 40, rose to fame playing April Ludgate on the television series “Parks and Recreation" and was nominated for an Emmy for her role on “The White Lotus.” The couple married in 2021.
I was a shy kid, says Zendaya
Zendaya was 'shy' as kid
Zendaya was a "shy" child.
The 28-year-old star first found fame during her childhood, starring in the Disney Channel sitcom 'Shake It Up', and Zendaya now admits that auditioning actually helped to improve her self-confidence.
The Hollywood star told W Magazine: "I was a shy kid, and I gained confidence and a sense of self when I started to audition. I'd create my own little outfits, do my own hair and make-up. Falling into different characters helped me get out of my shell."
Zendaya feels that acting gives her a real sense of freedom.
The actress has relished starring in 'Euphoria', the hit HBO teen drama, and 'Challengers', the critically acclaimed sports drama film, in recent years.
She explained: "A reason why I love my job is it allows me the space to be less self-critical and try things, because I don't have to deal with the consequences of the character's actions in real life.
"When I'm Rue or when I'm Tashi, for example, I can just be messy, let the instincts come, and not judge myself because I'm not judging them."
Last year, Zendaya admitted that she felt "a little bit terrified" about returning to 'Euphoria'.
The actress - who plays Ruby 'Rue' Bennett in the teen drama - told Vanity Fair: "I’m a little bit terrified. I’m like, 'Can I even do this anymore?' I don’t know.
"To be fair, I get that feeling every time I go onto a new project. You’re always like, 'What am I even doing?' On that first day on set, you’re like, 'I was terrible. I was s***. Everyone hates me. I’m going to get fired tomorrow.' And when the director’s like, 'You did a great job', you’re like, 'You’re lying. You’re actually lying to me.' But that’s just part of, again, the Virgo self-criticism."
Nicole Kidman recalls putting a 'curse' on her diaries
Kidman 'cursed' her diaries
Nicole Kidman put a "curse" on her old diaries.
The Oscar-winning actress kept a diary during her younger years, and Nicole believes it actually helped her to navigate a "very complicated" period in her life.
The 57-year-old star told W Magazine: "I used to keep a diary every single day.
"I naturally journaled to find my sanity when I was young. I started at nine. It became my solace and my way of working through so many things that were very complicated in my head through those teen years."
Despite this, Nicole ultimately decided to burn her old diaries and she's even recalled putting a "curse" on two of them.
The actress shared: "I burned a lot of them.
"There were two I actually put a curse on. I was raised on 'Bewitched', so I put a curse: 'If anyone reads this, something terrible will happen.' I subsequently found out my mom had read them all because she wanted to make sure that I was going to be okay.
"When I found out much later in life, I was like, 'That was just not good. You shouldn't have done that.' But now I'm glad she did it. And she also knew me in the deepest, deepest subconscious way, so I'm happy for her to have had all that access."
Meanwhile, Nicole - who is one of the highest-paid actresses in the movie business - has revealed that she's always had a passion for performing, dating back to her school years in Australia.
She recalled: "I was putting on shows in the backyard, in the schoolyard, at lunchtime with people going, 'I just want to eat my lunch. I don’t want to learn a play.' I’d be like, 'You haven’t learned your lines!'"
Have an extra $4 million? You could buy the 'Breaking Bad' house
Buy 'Breaking Bad' home
The house made famous by the “Breaking Bad” TV series is up for sale, and the owners of the otherwise unassuming home in one of Albuquerque’s older neighborhoods are hoping the property’s role in the long-running series will help them fetch a pretty penny.
Centered on mythical methamphetamine cookers Walter White and Jesse Pinkman, the series wrapped up more than a decade ago, but its legacy continues to draw looky-loos to the home and other associated filming spots around town.
New Mexico's governor also recently tapped the Walter White character, played by Bryan Cranston, to star in a campaign against littering in New Mexico.
While “Breaking Bad” certainly has left its mark on New Mexico and this quiet block in Albuquerque, the listing is sure to reignite interest.
Time to move on
Fans often flock to the home, sometimes with hundreds of cars driving by in a single day, Joanne Quintana told Albuquerque television station KOB-TV.
Quintana said her parents purchased the home in the 1970s and that she and her siblings grew up there. As her parents got older and the show's popularity skyrocketed, it became harder to protect them. The family was forced to put up a metal fence and install security cameras to keep fans at bay.
Now that her parents are gone, it's time to sell.
“This was our family home from 1973, almost 52 years," she told the station. "So we’re going to walk away with just our memories. It’s time to move on. We’re done. There’s no reason to fight anymore.”
Hollywood magic
It was 2006 when a film scout first approached Quintana's mother about shooting a pilot episode at the home. Within months, the equipment was set up and filming began.
The family got to meet Cranston and the other stars and watched from behind the scenes as crew members worked their magic. Quintana’s mother was always sure to have cookies for the cast and crew.
The inside of the home was used to prep, while interior scenes were shot in a studio.
For the famous pizza scene, Quintana remembers boxes of pizza lining the sidewalk. Plenty of unsliced cheese and pepperoni props were at the ready in case Cranston didn't nail it first try. He did — landing the pizza face-up on the roof after his character's wife shut the door in his face.
The homeowners had a hard time keeping fans from attempting their own pizza tosses or trying to sneak dips in the iconic backyard pool.
Priced to sell?
The housing market in New Mexico's largest city certainly isn't what it would have been when Walter White was applying for a mortgage, and the price paid by Quintana's parents five decades ago is unimaginable now. The median price in the Albuquerque area is approaching $400,000, and interest rates are expected to hover around 6% this year.
Some online real estate calculators put the estimated market value of the four-bedroom ranch-style home at just over $340,000. But with the star power of “Breaking Bad” behind it, the global luxury realty service that is listing the home for Quintana and her family has it priced at just under $4 million.
David Christensen with eXp Luxury told The Associated Press on Friday that it's been a busy day with the listing going live and that investors will be looking at the property. Ideas include turning the home into a vacation rental or a museum.
The listing company has set up a website to showcase the property, billing it as a chance to own a piece of pop culture history.
Man accused of hiding stolen 'Wizard of Oz' ruby slippers plans to plead guilty, attorney says
Ruby slipper thief to plead
A man accused of long hiding a stolen pair of sequined ruby slippers that Judy Garland wore in “The Wizard of Oz” plans to plead guilty, his attorney confirmed Friday.
The slippers were stolen in 2005 from the Judy Garland Museum in her hometown of Grand Rapids, Minnesota. Their whereabouts remained a mystery for nearly 13 years until the FBI recovered them in 2018. They fetched a record price for movie memorabilia when they were auctioned off for $32.5 million last month, according to Heritage Auctions, which conducted the sale. The buyer still has not been revealed.
Jerry Hal Saliterman, now 77, of Crystal, Minnesota, was charged last March with theft of a major artwork and witness tampering.
He’s expected to plead not guilty when he’s arraigned Monday before a federal magistrate judge, a formality because magistrate judges can’t accept guilty pleas in felony cases in Minnesota. But the district judge overseeing the case on Friday scheduled a change of plea hearing for Jan. 10.
Saliterman's attorney, John C. Brink, confirmed to The Associated Press that his client will change his plea then to guilty, but he declined to give details about any potential plea agreement. The U.S. Attorney's Office for North Dakota, which is prosecuting the case, declined to comment.
The man who stole the slippers, Terry Jon Martin, now 77, pleaded guilty in 2023 to theft of a major artwork, admitting to what his attorney said was an attempt to pull off “one last score” after turning from a life of crime. He was sentenced last January to time served because of his poor health.
The indictment against Saliterman says that from August 2005 to July 2018, he “received, concealed, and disposed of an object of cultural heritage,” and that Saliterman knew the slippers were stolen.
Saliterman is also in poor health. He was in a wheelchair and on supplemental oxygen last March during his first court appearance.
Authorities have not said how Martin and Saliterman might have been connected. Martin, who lives near Grand Rapids, said at his plea hearing in October 2023 that he hoped to sell what he thought were real rubies from the shoes. But a person who deals in stolen goods, known as a fence, informed him the rubies weren’t real, he said. Martin said he then got rid of the slippers, but declined to say how he did so.
Garland’s character, Dorothy, wore several pairs while filming the classic 1939 musical, but only four pairs are known to remain. Hollywood memorabilia collector Michael Shaw had loaned his pair to the museum before Martin stole them. Shaw eventually got them back, and had them auctioned last month.
Garland was born Frances Gumm in 1922. She lived in Grand Rapids, about 200 miles (320 kilometers) north of Minneapolis, until she was 4 years old. She died in 1969. The Judy Garland Museum says it has the world’s largest collection of Garland and “Wizard of Oz” memorabilia.
Dune 4 ‘in development at Warner Bros. with or without Denis Villeneuve’
Dune 4 in development
A fourth ‘Dune’ movie is reportedly in the works at Warner Bros.
The sci-fi saga has so far been helmed by director Denis Villeneuve - who is currently working on his third and final entry into the franchise ‘Dune: Messiah’ - though Hollywood insider Daniel Richtman has now claimed Warner Bros. is looking to continue the story with or without the filmmaker.
As well as a supposed fourth movie, the studio is also reportedly exploring another spin-off TV series after releasing the Max prequel show ‘Dune: Prophecy’ in November 2024.
In September, Villeneuve insisted he would not stay in the ‘Dune’ franchise after ‘Messiah’, as the books written by Frank Herbert that the film series is based on are “tricky to adapt”.
During an appearance on Vanity Fair’s ‘Little Gold Men’ podcast, the ‘Blade Runner 2049’ director said: “I think that it would be a good idea for me to make sure that, in ‘Messiah,’ there are the seeds in the project if someone wants to do something else afterwards because they are beautiful books.
“They are more difficult to adapt. They become more and more esoteric.”
After releasing ‘Dune: Part Two’ in March 2024, Villeneuve announced he would be taking a break from the series to work on other projects, though later found himself picking the pen back up much sooner than he thought he would.
He explained to Deadline in October: “Let’s say that I thought that after ‘Part Two’ that I will take a break, that I will go back in the woods and stay in the woods for a while to recover. But the woods weren’t really suiting me, and I would go back behind the camera faster than I think. But that’s all I can say.”
At the time, Villeneuve said he was “in the writing zone” for ‘Messiah’, though made an effort not to call the film ‘Dune: Part Three’.
He explained the first two films felt like “one entity” to him, before adding: “It’s a movie made in two parts. It’s finished, it’s done.”
‘Dune: Messiah’ - which will star Timothee Chalamet, Zendaya, Florence Pugh and Anya Taylor-Joy - will follow Paul Atreides 12 years into his reign as the Emperor of the Known Universe as the religious cult he created around himself begins to spiral out of his control.
While he wanted to do justice to Herbert’s work, the ‘Sicario’ filmmaker emphasised he also wanted to “do something completely different” with his cinematic take on ‘Messiah’.
He explained: “Like Herbert did with ‘Dune: Messiah’, I think it’ll be a great idea to do something completely different. The story takes place like 12 years after where we left the characters at the end of ‘Part Two’.
“Their journey, their story is different this time, and that’s why I always say that while it’s the same world it’s a new film with new circumstances.”

Jennifer Aniston loves her body
Aniston loves her body
Jennifer Aniston is in love with her body.
The 55-year-old actress explained that she has learned to embrace her body because it is "doing the best it can".
She told Allure: "We’ve got to love our bodies. It’s doing the best it can. It’s been with us since the day we started, so we can’t be too hard on it.
"Of course, we're all going to grow older, but how can we thrive as we grow older? And that is about giving your body the attention that it deserves."
The 'Friends' star also admitted that her 20s were "a nightmare" but she enjoyed her 30s as she began to feel rewarded by working out.
Jennifer added: "For me personally, I loved my 30s, but my 20s were nothing. I was a nightmare.
"I didn't understand working out until my 30s and 40s."
'The Morning Show' actress revealed she has a "real hard relationship" with sleep and has had to shut herself away from receiving news at night.
Jennifer said: "I really want to love it, and I am sure it wants to love me, but we have had a hard time, especially the last 10, 15 years.
"It’s just hard to shut the brain down, hard to tell the committee to stop talking. I've had to shut the news off.
"I’ve had to give myself boundaries with information. You know what I mean?"
Aniston has been challenging herself to go to bed at 10pm on weeknights to improve her mental health by working on her sleep hygiene.
She revealed: "I've been trying hard to put myself in bed during the week at 10pm, turn everything off and then just sit there and let the world come crashing in.
"I've been trying to meet that challenge for myself. Some days you're great and on point, and some days you're just not.
"I’m a big believer in trying not to be hard on yourself because the world is so mean right now and so aggressive and negative.
"So why would we do it to ourselves?"
