Benny Hughes started covering the Minnesota Lynx and Timberwolves at Canis Hoopus in 2023. Having just completed his undergraduate degree in Communication Studies at Luther College located in Iowa, he returned to Minneapolis to work as an HR Generalist at Hartfiel Automation - an Industrial Distribution company located just outside the Twin Cities. During his time at Luther, he was a member of the basketball team and brings the experience of playing at the Division 3 college level to his analysis. On top of this, he is also a practice player with the Minnesota Lynx and gets an up close look at the team from a different perspective as a result. You can follow him on Twitter @Benny__Hughes for all of his Wolves and Lynx takes in real time!
