Pete Hegseth is a Fox News host and Army National Guard veteran. Trump chose him as his Secretary of Defense pick because he's "tough" and a big supporter of the "America First" agenda.

But we're not here to talk about Hegseth's qualifications; we're here to talk about an unearthed 2015 clip of him hitting a drummer with an axe on a live Fox & Friends segment. Yep, for real.

As someone who is terminally online, I truly can't believe I have never seen this clip before.

For those wondering, the drummer was okay!

Three marching band drummers in uniform perform outdoors, each playing a snare drum

Nonetheless, the drummer still sued, but it's not clear what happened beyond that.

Three drummers in matching uniforms play snare drums outdoors, forming a line. They perform in an urban setting with cars in the background

Either way, I think it's safe to say that nobody should be throwing axes in public places, period.
