Honestly this place was so amazing we extended our stay an extra night. It's not that the hotel is super unique or the fanciest around, but everything was just done right. Very easy to feel at home, nothing was missing. Some staff were still learning as it's a newer place, but the desire to help was there. Rooms are clean and comfortable, really lovely bathroom and location was perfect.

The location is great-- close to Keihan Shijo station and other bus stations. Walkable to Gion & other attractions. Convenient stores nearby & you can walk along the small breek in a good weather. The room is very spacious and nicely set up too. I particularly loved the amenities. The staff is super friendly and helped a lot with our questions. Everything was great!

Amazing hotel with spacious rooms, perfect location. They also serve proper breakfast and cute bakery inside, which we really loved ( banana cake from fridge is must try!!)

Awarded two pavilions by the Michelin Guide 2020, Hotel Alza Kyoto is situated near the Kamo River and within Gion District, a 2-minute walk from Sanjo Station. Great location! Really helpful staff! Would come back here again.

Lobby lounge with free coffee and small snacks is the best. Great location within a 5min walk to Pontocho Street. Subway station is right next to the hotel.

Location is excellent, very convenient for local eating & shopping . A warm neighborhood feeling. Like the area very much.

Hiyori Stay Kyoto Kamogawa is one of the best hotels. The room is clean and spacious enough for 4 adults. They provide pajamas for the guests. They also provide luggage transfer, so you don’t have to go to the nearest Yamato service center. Everything you need is in the room. The best part is that they provide facial wash, moisturizer, and cleansing milk. The receptionist is very friendly and helpful. No wonder the hotel has the best ratings. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Kyoto.

Hotel Yuraku Kyo-yasaka er staðsett í Kyoto, í innan við 1 km fjarlægð frá Gion Shijo-stöðinni og í 16 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Samurai Kembu Kyoto. HUGE SPACIOUS ROOM! TOOTHBRUSHES BIGGER THAN AVERAGE TOOTHBRUSH! I'm 6 feet 2 inches so they gave me a larger bathrobe, or maybe it was called yukata. It was our honeymoon and they treated us so well. They also had a lot of other free amenities in the restroom that I can't think of, but I know my wife took all of it. I can't remember if I added breakfast or if it was included, but it was worth it. Super delicious Japanese meal that made us both very full to start our day. This place rocks!

Location, location location! Great size and layout of the room. Loved the Nordic, clean interiors There was a closet in the room where you could store your luggage which allowed us space to walk around the room. They have towels and amenities available on each floor - hair tie, toilet paper, towels which was a great touch . Many close restaurants walking distance The old city gion is just a stones throw away and you feel like you have been brought back in time. So charming and loved walking the old streets
