So much to do here!
So much to do here! Food is incredible, shopping is top notch and of course the mountains are so beautiful with small towns, local art and trails to explore. The people are open and friendly and the culture is easy going and accepting. I am planning to relocate here in the near future.

Mountains and the weather was nice.
Mountains and the weather was nice. Didn’t feel as cold and I briefed better. I didn’t care for the highway. A lot of one way traffic . I wished the hotels had shuttles to take you places. Tour buses that could pick you up and show you around the city. Parking is expensive .
My name is Selena , my mother and youngest daughter visited my oldest daughter who moved to Denver in July.

Denver is a beautiful and easy to navigate city.
Denver is a beautiful and easy to navigate city. This was my first time visiting, and there are a lot of fun museums to visit. However, there is construction everywhere which was a bit frustrating. After leaving Denver, I visited Boulder and Estes Park, which are two areas that I would have preferred to spend more time in. There were some really great restaurants, especially West...the chicken pot pie was delicious. I was surprised at the number of unhoused people in the area, and saw several folks zoning out, which was not my favorite thing, but I guess it could be worse. The only other complaint is that the majority of the Uber drivers we had were not very pleasant, but we got to where we needed to, so that's fine.

Denver downtown was a pleasant surprise, much better than expected. Too bad many places have gone out of business for various reasons (Pandemic, Road construction works, etc.). Public transportation was very easy to use and very good.

As far as Denver itself I found that it was a little boring for an out of town visitor.
Not too many sights, historic attractions ... but then again maybe my expectations were too high in that regard coming form a very historic city like Boston.
Enjoyed the State Capitol Building tour very much, and the Zoo was good for a half day visit.
Larimer Sq, their "historic" center was sadly desserted feeling on a Saturday evening. It kind of reminded me of what I remember Pioneer Square in Seattle was like years ago.
There are a lot of homeless people all around the downtown area, again something we're not so used to seeing in East coast cities (dont know why that is).
Denver Airport is WAY too far out of the city itself, situated in a vast open prairie miles outside the center of town. However there is a light rail line going out there if you should need it.
In general I would say that it's probably a nice city to live in, but not particularly exciting for tourists.
The main reason most tourists fly into Denver I assume is not to linger in the city too long, but instead head for the mountains, which are spectacularly beautiful and really well worth visiting for sure.

No breakfast taken but bar OK along with the bar food. Location rather like a moonscape, with lots of buildings scattered over a wide area and all new. However, the hotel was modern and very comfortable, with large, well appointed rooms and super -friendly staff. The real bonus and why I chose was that it was right next to the light rail station which provides cheap, regular and rapid transport into town. Also, the free shuttle to and from the airport was great.
Spending one night at Judith’s and Doc’s Off Broadway B&B felt like visiting family. It was one of our best experiences during our road-trip and we really loved our room with the balcony, the fabulous breakfast and the great conversations. The location was also great to explore Downtown Denver and you get to stay in a house with history, charm and two lovely dogs. Highly recommended: Stay here if you visit Denver!
We enjoyed staying at the Homewood Suites. The location is great (downtown Denver) and the hotel was exactly what we'd expected. The breakfast was excellent and our room was fine; clean and everything was in good working order. The hotel is not the cheapest in Denver, but all in all we felt that we definitely got decent enough value for money.
Great location in downtown denver - very well equipped room and super modern. Great amenities in the hotel with roof top terrace on the 15th floor as well as fitness room on the 15th floor which we both used.
