I booked it because of the artistic rooms viewed online and the restaurant but when we got there she told us we were on the first floor and only the 4th and 5th floor are painted. Asked to stay in upper level, she made it happen. Unfortunately we were on the side where the highway is and I am a light sleeper. If I were to stay would ask for the opposite end. Hotel was quiet as it was slow season. Overall, close to where we needed to go and staff was friendly.

Albuquerque is the biggest city in New Mexico in the USA and home to the International Balloon Fiesta during October. Rich in history, this beautiful destination has Pueblo Revival-style architecture with Sandia Mountains in the background.
Popular from the Bugs Bunny cartoon phrase, ‘I knew I should’ve taken that left turn at Albuquerque’, this metropolitan place is crossed by the Rio Grande River. Travellers should not miss the city’s old town with the 18th-century buildings, narrow streets and cosy restaurants serving Mexican dishes.
Lush in greenery, Albuquerque features the Rio Grande Botanic Garden and the Rio Grande Zoo. You can take the Sandia Peak Tramway and enjoy the panoramic views of the city, the mountains and the surrounding areas.
The Albuquerque International Sunport is located 6.3 km away and serves Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Booking.com will help you find the right hotel, motel or inn in Albuquerque and the nearby towns of Rio Rancho, Mesa Village and Alameda.
Grocery stores are run down.... Speeding and passing red lights... Homeless people are coming up and asking for money in parking lots, they follow you. And we witnessed an older couple that had their older F-350 and new attached camper stolen from a hotel parking lot by airport. Put kill switch's or gps on your vehicle, especially if you are hauling an rv or u-haul. They did this around midnight. Lazy a.....!

We liked the relaxed atmosphere.
We liked the relaxed atmosphere.
Our favorite place to eat was Seasons 52, very enjoyable atmosphere and excellent food. We visited the Pueblo Cultural Center which was interesting and informative. If we would have had more time we would have explored oldtown Albuquerque in more depth. Also bring plenty of pocket money. There are so many interesting craft boutiques - very tempting.

We were on a Road Scholar trip for the Balloon Festival and it was worth it. Even went to Santa Fe for a day. Remember if go that you will be rising early-3-4am in order to be at festival in time to see the balloons being setup and then lift in mass. The IPCC is worth a visit to learn more about Indian history and culture.

We were in Albuquerque for the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta! If you can make it during this time of the year, it is so worth it. The weather was perfect for day trips to the Sandia Crest and north to Madrid for a nice twist. Les Combes Winery was a wonderful find while we were there as well. We spent an afternoon as the Botanical Gardens too. Definitely a nice surprise.

We were there for the balloon fiesta which was wonderful.
We were there for the balloon fiesta which was wonderful. We drove in from Santa Fe in the morning. Spent the afternoon in the market area and did one small hike which was great. Arrived at hotel in downtown Albuquerque and it was very unsafe. Hotel over priced and nothing to do! Did not feel safe to leave hotel.

The balloon fiesta was awesome.
The balloon fiesta was awesome. You could see the balloons at dawn and for about 2 hours afterwards. They took over the sky. Up-close in the park was a fantastic experience. Food is great do to all the options. Loved Sunnyside Up, Route 66 Dinner and Wecks great food and fantastic wait staff. Marcus, Tara & Brandon at Sunnyside Up are top notch.

Favorite dog friendly hotel during long roadtrip. Dog was welcomed with a goody bag and he still plays with his little toy every day since! Free bottled water at the lobby was a welcome sight after a long day on the road. Located near a lot of shops and restaurants - was able to walk over and pick up CPK for takeout - but lobby also had plenty of snacks and drinks for purchase. Clean, spacious, and wonderful staff to assist with any and all questions!
The hotel was large, clean, with free, secure underground parking. The rooms are very large and well appointed.
We used the gym, which was excellent. But didn't get time to use the pool, unfortunately. We didn't eat at the hotel, though the menu looked decent. There are a couple of really nice bars and restaurants near by, though the area at night isn't great. All in all, a superb hotel.
Location was great for visiting with granddaughter at the University. The room was a nice size with an area to sit and read or watch TV. The bed was comfortable. There was a shuttle available to take us to the Old Towne and football game at the University, alleviating the need to worry about parking. The breakfast buffet was better than most that we have eaten at in hotels.
I paid 4 times the normal rate because of ballon fiesta in Albuquerque, and woke up to bugs on my bed. The bathroom was not very clean and the phone in the room has most of the buttons removed. Overall the room was only worthy of 2 star hotel room. Wonder how it is a 4 star hotel.
Staff were lovely and we had one of the nicest meals of our trip in the on site restaurant. Room was a good size, wifi was great and the style/decor and feel of the hotel was really enjoyable.
