My recent stay at Windsor Hotel was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the cleanliness, professionalism, and warm hospitality that made me feel right at home.
Spotless Cleanliness & Exceptional Staff
The cleaning staff does an amazing job—every corner of the hotel was immaculately maintained, from the rooms to the common areas. Their politeness and attention to detail made my stay even more enjoyable.
The breakfast team was equally fantastic! Every morning, I was greeted with smiles and efficiency, and the breakfast selection was both fresh and diverse, catering to different tastes.
The pool and spa teams were also incredibly welcoming and professional. They made sure everything was well-kept, and their warm hospitality added to the overall relaxation of my stay.

The city of Istanbul offers a trip unlike any other, encompassing Asian and European cultures to create a heady mix of art, music and food. The amazing Old Town and the Sultanahmet are home to iconic Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia. More history is hidden in the Topkapi Palace, where you can glimpse the splendor and opulence of Turkey’s Ottoman heritage.
Take a stroll through the historic center or the busy Taksim Square before watching the sun set behind countless mosques and minarets. Local fish markets and numerous restaurants lining the bridge to Galata offer the Golden Horn’s daily catch.
If you prefer the fine art of bargaining to fine art, lose yourself in the Grand Bazar and maybe you’ll emerge with a hookah, some Turkish coffee, or even a carpet. The Spice Bazar further immerses you in the sights, smells, and tastes of Turkish culture.

Great city, very vast, lots to see but easy to get around, Trams are cheap and easy, don't bother with taxis, you will sit in traffic. Equally easy to walk around, felt pretty safe even though there were some protests going on around the city. Visited all the sites, would look to return to see more of the Asian side, still lots left to see.

I have been travelling for a good number of years.
I have been travelling for a good number of years. I love everything in Istambul. Transport is very quick, all sight-seeings are close by, and Mosk is free to visit except for Sophia. The food is delicious, and the people are friendly. My most beautiful place was Dolmanahce Palace, so beautiful. Please visit the Cafe, too.

Istanbul is the city of eternal wonder!
Istanbul is the city of eternal wonder!
As a child, I visited it every year for decades with my parents, and now I do the same with my child.
We love the city, the kindness of the people, the endless attractions and the atmosphere of the entire city.
Once you have visited the must-see attractions, it is worth visiting the attractions and parts of the city that are less visited by tourists!
Get to know the city and you will fall in love with it forever!

This is my 4th visit, and I love the old city.
This is my 4th visit, and I love the old city. Apart from the major attractions each area has a unique appeal. Would urge all to explore on foot as much as possible as you will discover unexpected treasures. The ferry is a very inexpensive way to see the shoreline both European and Asian sides. A credit card may be used for the most part. Lots of casual, attractive restaurants and elegant ones for special occasions. Importantly it is a great base to explore the rest of Turkey which has so much to offer in all directions.

I think Istanbul is a good starting point to exploring other areas of the country like Cappadocia. I most enjoyed the Old City; lots of history to take in and nice selection of restaurants to dine in.
I did not enjoy the rest of the city. It was too busy and nothing really interesting to see, except the one palace.
I would recommend two nights, three tops. Do not do a tour on your first day of flying internationally; it is exhausting. Do the Old City tour on your second day then you can fly out the next day to continue on to your next destination. Or stay the third night and go shopping at the spice market and local shops or the Grand Bazaar.

Clean and well-equipped hotel. Fantastic and helpful staff throughout. The breakfast was fantastic with a great view. Very close to Taksim Square and there are so many locals in that zone.
We also used the transfer service to the airport and the price was so much better than the taxis in front of the airport that we used when we arrived.
I was very pleased with my stay and will stay there again if I find myself in Istanbul again.
Absolutely everything. The best is the staff and especially Kassem. I think there is no better location than Sirkeci : the bosphorus is 5 mins by feet and Sultanahmet 10 mins. The transports are also very close (tramway, ,marmaray under the hotel). The view during the breakfast is absolutely amazing, one of the best I've seen of Istanbul. Thank you and hope to see you again soon 🥰
One of the best hotels I have stayed in throughout my last 20 years travel, all taxi drivers of istanbul know where is Akgun Hotel, the room is big, clean, and very cosy. The breakfast is so diverse and so delicious, specially this royal honey with nuts, not to mention 7 kind of cheese...5 stars is not enough for this amazing hotel.
Staff was very kind and friendly, ready to help you anytime you need . Location the best,a few steps to Taksim square. Rooms very clean . If I will visit Istanbul again for sure I will stay in the same hotel .
