Location is perfect, parking available, communication with staff was very helpful, the place is quiet, room is small, but cozy. You can make a tea, mugs, utensils, tea, plates and glassware provided. Room colourscheme makes the room look cozy and homely. I liked original historical details - windows, stained glass doors, wooden stairs.

We were traveling with a baby and staff was extra wonderful and helpful, they gave us early check in and offered baby bassinet. Location is amazing, close to the sea and in the main street with lots of restaurants. There is a free private parking. We received champagne and chocolates in the room, a little gift with amber! Room was clean, cozy and warm, everything was just perfect, you could feel how much thought they put in everything. Definitely recommend! Staff is exceptional - always smiling and helpful!

Jurmala is lovely but it is small town.
Jurmala is lovely but it is small town. There are some nice restaurants and cafes. The beach is beautiful, sandy and clean. It's a great location for getting into Riga. Trains are regular, clean and modern. 2 euro for a single, 30 minute journey to Riga. It's worth getting the boat from the wee jetty into Riga late afternoon. It's a 2.5 hour journey, its lovely, relaxing and great value at around 15 euro

Nice and comfy town full of separate houses with gardens.
Nice and comfy town full of separate houses with gardens. It's very popular place for domestic tourists and for tourists from nearby countries so you wouldn't be surprised by local prices and entry fees - please remember if you traveling by car you have to pay entry fee - about 3 euros per day
The best place of course is the Jurmala beach - there are many things to do, so just relax, enjoy the sea and be happy there

It's a short 20 minute train ride from Riga (on a comfortable modern train) and it's such a gorgeous beach! The parties, the food, the sand and the hotels (like the one we stayed with the Sauna) are amazing and seem much better value for equivalent in other European beaches and capitals. And NOT crowded!

Lots of food and shopping on Jurmala street, but the whole area is very large so renting bikes or having a car is very important.
Summer would be much nicer but the autumn was very quiet and there were no crowds anywhere.

We stayed in a family room for 5 of us and it was spacious. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. Slept so well. It also had air conditioning which as so good due to the heat at the time of our visit. Really easy walking distance to beach and town. Had a kettle, TV and plenty of power points. We asked for an earlier check in which they were happy to accommodate. Staff friendly. Hotel has character and charm.
Reception staff upgraded our room which was nice! The room had a good view of the sea. Plenty of space and good facilities. Location is very good in the heart of Jurmala. Plenty of things to enjoy just in the hotel itself - restaurants (we recommend the View - very good seafood and grill spot), spa facilities (many pools, saunas etc).
Fantatic wellness oasis area with a variety of saunas and the location is perfect. We think this is the best wellness area of all spa hotels in Jurmala.
Breakfast is healthy latvian style buffee, very good. Staff were friendly and helpful.
