The Power of Nature

Featuring the best views of the awesome waterfall sharing its name, Canada’s Niagara Falls is a small city promising more than just a stunning insight into the power of nature.

By day, view the falls from the riverfront promenade, or for an up-close-and-personal experience, the Hornblower Niagara Cruise takes you right into the swell. Rain ponchos are provided. Alternatively, there’s the Journey Behind the Falls – a walk through the rock behind Niagara. Handy portholes help you experience the thundering water.

Slightly downstream are the American Falls, less well-known and less impressive, but worth a look. At night, both falls get illuminated by colored lights – an incredible sight. Further downstream is the Rainbow Bridge which you can walk across to get an American stamp in your passport. Just check your visa requirements first.

The city itself has 7 golf courses, with one right by the river – be careful with your swing! Other Niagara Falls attractions include casinos, movie theaters and Marineland Canada, featuring the world's largest whale habitat for viewing orcas both above and below ground.

Unless you fly into Niagara Falls Airport on the US side, you’ll probably arrive by car. So check out the hotels, apartments, motels and more on Booking.com with easy parking options.

When visiting Niagara falls it is just all about the falls, there are multiple ways to enjoy it. I visited the powerstation including the walk through the old spill way. As an Engineer i really liked this. But the falls are free to watch so this is not neccesarry. Aside from the falls the city seems like a tourist trap with al kinds of fairground attractions focussed on luring you in. Visiting the fall for an hour of 2 should be enough.

Niagara Falls is beautiful with so much to do for everyone. It is very expensive and you have to pay to park everywhere, including your own hotel which was disappointing however the Wego bus is very convenient.

We had a whirlwind trip to Niagara and Toronto for work.

We had a whirlwind trip to Niagara and Toronto for work. This hotel made everything easier. With the stunning views and the uniqueness of the hotel to match the beauty and awe of the falls we felt that we did this trip RIGHT. The Falls were mind blowing and powerful force of nature. The walk down to the falls from the hotel is fairly easy. It's beautiful to go in winter because you beat the crowds and it provides a different aspect of nature. really stunning iceburgs and powerful winter colors. Most Everything surrounding the hotel is an awful chain. Thank god we had to go into Toronto for work so we could eat good food. And on the way out of Niagra falls we stopped at Swan St. diner in Buffalo for the most AMAZING breakfast I ever had. Yes the hotel is Ace but the chains and surrounding attractions at Niagara are seriously depressing. Really wish there was more mom and pop or artisanal joints around. Indian food was the best thing going. Also total shocked that people still go to aquariums and watch animal abuse for fun. So Sad.

The place is located far enough from the Niagara Falls center to need public transport or a car, so you can take a bus (direct) just in front of the hotel and you will be there in 20 min. You can take the car too but it can be tricky to park the car during high season in the hotel parking lot and even in Niagara Falls area. Outside there are a few places to eat and a kind of an outdoor shopping mall to enjoy by the end of the day. Is a calm neighborhood.

We had a brilliant view of Niagara Falls from our room. The hotel is not on the front row of hotels overlooking the Falls so riot all. the rooms have the view but we paid extra and it was definitely worth it. We loved to just sit and look at the changing colours and vistas over the falls. Good to have tea/coffee making in the room with a proviso about the amount of disposable stuff - see "What didn't you like" comment below.

We stayed at the 15th floor facing the falls. Nice scenic view of the American and Bridal falls from the room. The Horseshoe Falls was not directly visible but could still see the spray from it. Nice, spacious room with 2 double beds. (We were 2 adults and 2 kids). Comfy beds. Loads of eating places nearby. Niagara Falls is just 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

There was someone at the reception who welcomed us. The hotel was easily accessible on one of the major arteries of Niagara Falls. The bathroom was on-suite and clean. An ironing board with iron was available in the room.
