Rapid Response:

In response to the first rapid response to this article.

Dear Editor,

Please see to it that knowledge is spread about how this disease is diagnosed. While the first response to this article is valid and holds weight, without proper diagnosis, women will go years without treatment. Endometriosis can only be diagnosed via laparascopy! This is why so many women by and large are misdiagnosed and go YEARS in excruciating pain and end up with advanced stages of Endometriosis before they receive a proper diagnosis! This is the bane of the existence of an Endometriosis patient, aside from the fact that there is no cure, and hysterectomies are widely pushed upon us, even though they have been proven ineffective.
