Tonight, the snow showers will become more isolated but the Isles will continue to see frequent rain and sleet showers. Clear spells for many and it will turn very cold overnight with easing winds.
Wednesday
Tomorrow most areas will see easing winds on a cold and crisp day with plenty of wintry sunshine. The far north-west will see isolated snow showers and the Isles will see more frequent showers. Cold.
Outlook for Thursday to Saturday
Thursday will see areas of freezing mist and fog linger in the morning with further snow showers moving in from the north, mainly in the Isles and northern parts of the mainland. Sunny spells developing elsewhere. Friday will be largely dry and bright with spells of wintry sunshine. Cold. Saturday will be cloudier with a small chance of rain in the west. Brighter in the east.
