    Newry City 1-3 Carrick Rangers

    Newry City are consigned to 12th place in the Irish Premiership following a 3-1 defeat at home to Carrick Rangers tonight.

    Stuart King's side come from behind to claim all three points, leapfrogging Loughgall in the process into seventh spot with that precious European spot now firmly in their grasp.

    Newry took an early lead through Ciaran O'Connor before the visitors equalised through Curtis Allen.

    Carrick then took the lead from the spot thanks to David Cushley, before Danny Gibson added a third minutes after Fra McCaffrey had been sent off for the hosts.

    And it’s all over Windsor Park where it finishes 2-2 after an incredible game.

    Matthew Shevlin with virtually the last action of the game earns a point for Coleraine.

    Jamie McGonigle had given the Bannsiders a first half lead but Linfield responded to lead 2-1 thanks to goals from Matthew Fitzpatrick and a Chris Shields penalty.
