On Sunday, Buffalo Bills handed the Kansas City Chiefs a 30-21 defeat in the NFL’s Week 11. Here’s some of what Tom Ruprecht overheard at Highmark Stadium.
- “That interception is the worst pass I’ve ever seen Patrick Mahomes throw — and I’ve seen him throw left-handed.”
- “Whoever was spying on Josh Allen must’ve been a double agent.”
- “Nazeeh Johnson was slower than my Netflix feed during the Tyson-Paul fight.”
- “I can’t believe the Packers stole our blocked-field-goal-at-the-end-of-regulation play.”
- “Losing sucks — but at least we didn’t have to see Jason Kelce shirtless this time.”
- “Given that we’ve won two straight Super Bowls and started 9-0, I’m sure Chiefs fans won’t go into an apocalyptic meltdown on the Internet.”
- “Yes! Jawaan Taylor gets a penalty in the final minute to keep his Joe DiMaggio-like streak alive!”
- “So Josh, how does this compare to beating the Chiefs in the playoffs?”
