French President Emmanuel Macron is in Saudi Arabia for a two-day state visit. This is a major event that seals the excellence of France’s relations with the Kingdom.

France hosted a donors’ conference for Lebanon last month that raised $1 billion dollars. Having  failed to exert the slightest influence on the situation in the region, this was the least the international community could do to ease its conscience.

France is the only country speaking in favor of Lebanon, but unfortunately it is only speaking.

Many continue to question the possibility of a link between illicit transactions, terrorist financing and money laundering, yet the figures speak for themselves.

In 2022, the use of cryptocurrencies for illicit transactions was estimated at over $20 billion.
