Submit a Proposal
So you’re interested in publishing with us, what are the next steps?
- Download and complete our Proposal form. Email the completed form, together with any supporting material (e.g., your CV, a sample chapter, etc.) to an acquisitions editor in the category you'd like to write about (see below). If you are still not sure who to contact, please email [email protected] and the appropriate editor will follow up.
- An Apress editor will contact you to discuss the proposal, the manuscript delivery plan, and other pertinent details.
- Your editor will work with you to develop your ideas and put your proposal forward for approval. If accepted, you will be offered a publishing agreement.
Apress now also publishes standalone video courses for academic and research oriented audiences. If you're interested in publishing a video with us, supporting material should be a sample video instead of a sample chapter. You can see examples of existing videos here. Additionally, please download and complete the Video Proposal form instead of the standard Book Proposal form. All other steps will be the same as those listed above.
