11/19 Pre-Bomb Cyclone hike to avoid getting stuck on the pass. Very few people out on the trail today, and the winds started to pick up around 10am. The trail has a little bit of mud and runoff on the trail, but it’s minimal. A few inches of snow on the first lookout, otherwise, not much as of today. My extra mileage was from going over to the receded shoreline. Extra pics and videos on instagram at BrianDecorahMBA

Trail in great condition, no need for micro spikes unless you are going up Haystack - then definitely bring them. Really slippery going up the scramble.

This was a great hike! A few small muddy spots and a bit rocky at times. I rolled both ankles once but I was also not in hiking boots. I recommend using the trail map for this one as it gets a bit confusing at certain spots/turns
