This is a great trail that takes you to Fairy Falls. There is a creek crossing, so be prepared to potentially get your feet wet. The trail is also 90% paved with packed gravel. There are a few drop-offs without any guardrails, so keep young children close in these areas.
When the Highway 30 parking lot is closed, hikers may park at Exit 31. This will be a four-mile round trip. Parking fees are mandatory.

This is a very long, but well-maintained trail, and easy to follow trail. On a clear day, there are views all along the route, and you will get to experience stunning views of the forest, river, and waterfalls. Once you arrive to the very top, you will be treated to a five peak view. The busiest section of this route will be the first 1.5-miles to the Multnomah Falls outlook, which is also the steepest section.

This hike is a steady climb to the top of Devil's Rest. The views of the Columbia River Gorge, Mount Saint Helens and Mount Adams along the way are breathtaking. The beginning part of the trail is usually crowded, but you should see fewer people the further you hike. The trail can be overgrown towards the top.

Gorgeous views from the top, pretty difficult hike to the top but worth it. Lots of people at the bottom, especially going up to the bridge.

Multnomah Falls via Larch Mountain Trail
Some rocky / steep sections, the dry conditions made it a little slippery on the way down but not too bad. Some sections of no canopy due to previous fires that were sunny but it was worth it!

Road was closed to Multnomah Falls. This was a great substitute. And you could take another trail from this falls to Multnomah. Much less crowded and free parking here.
Conditions: No bugs, Wildflowers, Dry ground, Well maintained
Trail was well maintained with only a few spots of really lose rock. The last .6 miles is just on the side of Hwy 30. Steady incline but not to much all at once !
Horsetail Falls and Oneonta Trail Loop (Short Option)
Holy hike! Great views, great breeze. Trail is super rocky, and the back half of the loop a bit boring. Otherwise, for those properly prepared this trail delivers in spades! So many wildflowers.

Watch out for poison oak. It’s a nice trail especially up towards the top when you get into the woods… There are other gorge trails that would be higher on my list, but it was a beautiful time with my buddy, radar O’Reilly
