Trail reviews for Addison
A bit of a scramble getting down to the falls, it’s fairly steep and requires a little squeeze between a rock and a tree. Saw a huge timber rattle snake on the trail so be cautious!
The trailhead has a small lot large enough for 2-3 cars. We encountered two groups at the trailhead, but were hiking in at different times so it was never crowded with people at the Falls area. This was a really beautiful Falls that is a short distance away. The trail is marked as moderate, but for me, it was the easiest of our day. There is only one tricky area that you have to go down (and then scramble back up) to reach the bottom, but it's so worth it to descend into the canyon area. It's beautiful down under the rock ledge. However, you can go to the right of the trail (left to descend down) to the top of the falls and gaze down that way too. I'd recommend both because it's beautiful but different terrain at each location.
Very small area for parking but the trail was pretty easy. There's a little bit of a steep area but not too terrible. The trail was easy to follow after the waterfall. Beautiful view at the bottom of the waterfall. Definitely recommend!
