Mohave Trail (#200)
Reviews
5AM hike was perfect for low temps and to see the sunrise.
Rocky but safe. Beautiful views and nice bathrooms at trailhead.
Very nice simple trail, a bit rocky but great to be one with nature
Very beautiful hike. A lot of switchbacks and scenes of downtown.
Great hike for those getting back into hiking. I’d say it’s beginner challenging. There are plenty of spots to rest and even doing half of it is rewarding. There are spots where the and rocks may get slippery. Moderate climb and rewarding. Kids will enjoy it but please bring plenty of water. I saw a woman with her bottle mostly empty as she hit the first peak elevation point(great picture spot). So please bring more(she turned back). I do not recommend under estimating this one if you’re inexperienced.
Nice little trail and not crowded Our Dogs got tired so we had to turn around. Would go back.
The signage is not very obvious for this trail. Make sure you have your map out or it’ll take you through a different route. Great incline, wonderful views, easy parking, very clean area, and clean bathrooms. Super sunny, bring a hat and water.
Combined Mohave and the 200 trail to make it longer and more exciting. Didn’t finish the loop because it got hot quickly. Will try again next time!
It was good, very rocky and a bit tricky to find your way sometime, in my opinion there’s no reason to do the descent at the end, it’s super rocky and doesn’t really have much a different view than what you get at the top. Overall ok.
Incredible views. Moderate trail, lots of weaving, but great signage. There’s lots of lookout spots, if you don’t want to hike the full mileage!
Lots of loose rocks which made it difficult, easy to moderate hike. Not a fan.
This trail was not populated like its nextdoor neighbor, Piestwa Peak. The out-and-back route up a hill makes it a little less enjoyable as you don’t get quite the view as Piestwa for the effort you put it. Nevertheless, it was a good little trail to get some steps in and it is different exploring some of the other less populated ones!
Some pricklers at the end of the turn around point that got stuck in my dog’s paws.
Great view. Restrooms right next to parking. Definitely bring water!
A great short hike with awesome views! My 7 year old niece could handle it (:
