This is a wonderful city walk around Bern going through the most scenic areas in the capital of Switzerland. Starting at the Parliament building, the itinerary goes to the Rosengarten, along the famous river Aare, Thunplatz, Kletterpark, Elfenau, Dählhölzli Tierpark zoo, Marzili Aarebath swimming beach, back up to Parliament. A perfect mix of historic sites and plenty of nature. This trail is versatile and avoids most of the traffic. The last climb can be avoided by using a small gondola back to the starting point.
