Beautiful view, snow still at the top and made us turn back. Very muddy too, overall not awful, but have done way better hikes in Lofoten.
Not completed.. stared only with part near the lake.. it was very pleasant!
Didn’t go all the way only to the top of the mountain. The climb up is pretty steep and filed with loose rocks in The Valley it is pretty muddy. But overall a nice experience with a nice view on both sides of the Lofoten.
Amazing hike! Some parts pretty steep so be careful. Not for children. After 1,5-2km you find a amazing stone thats very photo friendly. After around 3km sand beaches in the lake where you can take a swim. After that you find some small water falls. We found some amazing spots and a lovely place to make lunch after 4-5km on a stone just like a dinner table :) Pretty dry ground but would not recomend it if its wet and mudy. Took us around 6h with some breaks and lunch. Some parts of this hike are not official trails.
The hike requires some experience. It has a very substantial drop. I couldn't go to the end despite my good form. Moreover, very quickly it is no longer trivialized, be careful not to take the wrong path. However, the view was magnificent!
It's a great wild hike. A lot of side tracks to avoid mud. But do not lie to yourself, you will walk in it. Nevertheless we went quite far anyway. On the other hand, you have to be resourceful, jump rocks, climb. We are closer to trekking. If I did not want to walk in the mud, we will have made a more touristy hike. Do not forget to look up to look at other tracks and landscapes.
Track was very muddy and the start of the trail a bit hard to find... but it was fairly easy to follow once we reached the lake. a few rocky sections had chains, which was fun. Didn't get all the way to Stokkvikskaret as it was a bit foggy, and my 8-yr old son was starting to get tired (and almost lost a shoe in the mud)!
