Brandon Hills Wildlife Management Area

Discover this 4.4-mile loop trail near Cornwallis, Manitoba. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 1 h 30 min to complete. This is a popular trail for birding, hiking, and mountain biking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.

Loop A is well-marked and well-maintained, and it usually is not too busy. The downside of a spring hike here is that bug season and tick season can mix, so be sure to give dogs and legs a check before leaving the park. Overall, hikers and mountain-bikers would recommend this trail since it is easy to do if you are able-bodied, and follows a very peaceful route.

Lots of interesting features! Bugs were bad in sections but overall a nice hike. End of trail under water so had to turn around.
