Trail reviews for Adams Mountain
Crawfish and Knott trail were both great and in excellent condition. The loop contains about 6-7 miles of forest service road and over a mile of pavement. Didn’t expect that, but saved the gravel for the end. Trails marked well. Didn’t do the crawfish loop. It’s more forest service roads and not well marked for hiking. Best to drive to it for the short hike around it. Wish this loop was all trail, but a great day either way!
Crawfish Lake and Knott Trail Loop
This hike is beautiful. Didn’t see another person. The view is amazing at the top. The trail has some steep climbs and lots of trees and ditches across the old forest road. I used Strava to track the hike and it was more like 1000 elevation gain and 3.5 miles round trip.
