I am pretty out of shape and managed this trail with an occasional break on the inclines. Beautiful views. We went early on a cool day, which I highly suggest. We attempted to do it on a much hotter day, but had our dog and had to postpone. Super glad it worked out that way. Take plenty of water. My watch said this hike was closer to 5 miles. So who knows It took us a little over two hours. Great workout, friendly trail goers, majestic saguaros!
