A nice route through the Collell and the Masallera starting from the c-153 road, continue to the Camí de Cabrera in the Collet de Sant Julià, from there continue to the top of Mount Cabrea at 1307 meters high, continue to the top of Puig de la Bastida at 1239 meters high and Aiats at 1311 meters high and by Coll del Bram.

First to review

We did that hike but from a different map on all trails called Puig de Caselles - Aiàts - Cabrera - Collet del Boix, that starts by going up from the farm and I would recommend that. That farm says private property so that part through the woods after the farm is not an official hiking path from what it looks like. It seems just someone walked through there. It Looks like some trails but again nothing official. At times it was also pretty steep, and we got off the map path so I would recommend to really really follow the route on the map. The view is pretty nice on the little platform once you come up. There was a lot of leaves on the ground that day so perhaps we just missed the path as we also didn't look on the map all the time. once you go further up and you then also reach the sanctuary on the top its super nice and you have like a 360 degrees view from a few spots up there. I would recommend that hike but in the other direction. Start Steep and walk back through the little valley.

We did this on a very windy January day. The first part excellent super views. The middle part as we following AllTrails route did not exist so make sure you follow the yellow footpath. The last part back to Hostalets d’en Bas follow the Olot and Vic route down a killer on the knees
