Bring water and food from outside the town. It is extremely expensive (water you can get in the city’s Fontana )
A wonderful way to spend the evening! Would recommend. So few people for such beautiful views. A lot of stairs, quite the climb but a fun run down. I would say It was moderated to hard in places but I did the whole thing in sandals.
Hard, but worth it. Lots of stairs. We hiked from the Monastery to Jeromi lookout point and back (did not do the whole loop) in about 2.5 hours, which includes some time to rest at the top and enjoy the view.
Worth doing in the morning before trails get full
Spectacular views, really unusual rock formations. This was a highlight of our trip to Spain. Agree with others to do this counterclockwise and use the map feature. Easy to get off trail but definitely worth it!
We turned off the road and took the Colbato path. We also took our time, observing the relics of another era quite meticulously. Breaks were also in order, given my pregnancy and my recurrent need to snack. A very satisfying hike, with extraordinary views.
Exceptional hike, top views. But to be done in an anti-clockwise direction. We did it in a clockwise direction and the descent is technically difficult, and the route is not well marked. Go there with hiking shoes.
Minostrol de Montserrat —> Montserrat very steep, very hard, done in 1h10 without any breaks. The Montserrat —> Sant Jeroni much easier! Get pretty hot when sunny.
