Best trails in Agios Georgios

If you are afraid of heights, the trail is less scary going south to north on a day wythe wind is blowing out of the south. Otherwise a great hike with gorgeous views and easy to follow. Good trail conditions throughout. A cute bar in Krini. Good cakes and coffee.

Be careful, it's not possible to return via the beach just after the canal linking the sea to the lake. Come back the same way you came and take a dip in the sea (deserted beach!) 2km further on.

The trail is easy to walk, just is a little long. For the first 2.7km you walk through secondary dirt roads with litle to none shade. The road in the begining is a little bit boring. After the 3rd kilometer you enter the olives deeper in olive orchards and the road starts to become amazing. You will reach a 4way intersection that takes you to the beach, to Agirades ( the way you came), to Agios Giorgios. You need to remember this intersection as you will need to come back to it if after you go to the beach in case you do not continue on the beach. The road you are shown in the application is blocked by fence from a photovoltaic plant. No way to go around it close by. Only on the beach of turning back to that intersection. The rest of the eay is nice through the countryside. Lovely walk!
