Bafi Refuge - Mola - Fire Lookout Station Loop

A very beautiful circular route through the centre of Mount Parnitha National Park, which starts at Bafi Refuge and heads northeast, semi-circling up to Mola. From there the route heads east to reach the EDASA Fire Lookout Station. Then, changing direction completely, the route heads east with to return to the starting point.

The ascent starts from the base of the Parnitha Cable Car and is directed through the ravine of the Chouni stream to the Bafi Mountain Refuge. From the Parnitha casino, the course ascends slightly through a forest and heads north and then east towards the Flampouri Shelter. The signpost on the trail is very good. From there the route goes north and then east, following the forest road and then the asphalt to Bafi Refuge. Staying on the asphalt, the route returns southeast to the Casino Mont Parnes.

Moderate trail pretty much all in the forest. There were some big groups so get there early. Nice ups and downs some rocks to navigate but generally easy to moderate. Nice trail to walk on. Recommend

was good and fun trail , marked at most points , some loose gravel will make it harder for not too athletic / old people but not too hard for most , saw some people running it .
