Trail reviews for Accous

Great views

From the parking lot (orientation table) in the Accous forest, we climbed the Col d'Iseye to reach Pic Mardas 2188m and Pic Montagnon d'Iseye 2173m via the ridge, before descending in the snow to Lac du Montagnon. A magnificent hike, with plenty of exercise, we came across many marmots and birds of prey, as well as a vast array of mountain flowers. We chose to descend to the Aydius parking lot, where we were picked up by other hikers. In the end, it took us almost 6 hours to cover almost 20 km and 1600 m of ascent.
