Best trails in Aflenz

Panoramic section of the Northern Alpine Trail, Lower Austria. From the Voisthalerhütte it goes further up and along the Graf-Meran-Steig to the Schiestlhaus. Continue to Hochschwab summit cross and Fleischer bivouac and from there steeply down to Häuslalm and Sackwiesenalm. The idyllically situated Sackwiesensee is also nearby - in the hot summer months you can cool off here and enjoy the beautiful natural atmosphere. From here it is only a stone's throw to the Sonnschienhütte.

Beautiful loop in Styria. It starts at the Aflenzer Bürgeralm - there are enough parking spaces here. In a generous round through sparse forest and beautiful flower meadows, you reach the Schönleitenhaus via the Windgruben trail, from where you have a fabulous view. You can also stop off here. The way back is then on a direct route - sometimes a bit steep - down to the Bürgeralm.

Panoramic hut hike in the Styrian Hochschwab area. This hiking tour starts at the Bürgeralm. This can be reached from Aflenz with the Bürgeralm chair lift, by car or on foot. From here it goes through the beautiful Styrian mountain landscape to the Voisthaler Hütte. You can either spend the night at the hut or hike back the same way. ----- Cable car ascent/descent

Varied mountain hike in Upper Styria around Aflenz. From the spa town of Aflenz, this day hike takes you to the Bürgeralm, Mitteralm and the Fölzalm. You can see chamois and marmots and enjoy a fantastic view of the Hochschwab. You can also shorten the somewhat longer tour by taking the chairlift the first stretch to the Bürgeralm.

Wonderful hike in Styria, Austria. The trail starts in Jauring. From there you follow the Feistringbach up into the forest until you reach the Hackentörl. The official hiking trail 864 ends here and you now continue through the beautiful Kaiserwald to Seewiesen, where you can arrive at the inn and rest.
