Some of its recent offerings include a brand new Chocolate Coffee Granola that looks too good to pass up, and Sour Strawberry Candy Belts that fans are saying is the "best candy they have made in years." But for me, it's the sheet cake that I always gravitate back to, again and again. And now, it's finally made its long-awaited return. Trader Joe’s Mini Lemon Sheet Cake Is Back Trader Joe's recently brought back its popular Mini Lemon Sheet Cake for a limited time. Personally, this is by far my favorite cake ever made by the grocery store. I'm a huge fan of anything lemon and this dessert just hits all the right notes. I can't get enough of it—so much so that I buy two at a time because within 10 minutes, I've practically inhaled one already. The package described the treat inside as a "moist, flavorful lemon cake topped with lemon cream cheese frosting and sprinkled with lemon zest." The cake is super light but indulgent thanks to the sour cream base. Plus, it's stackable, so it's great for entertaining when you need a layer cake on the fly. If you need another reason to pick up this returning bakery treat, it will only cost you $5.49. For a cake that's just a little over a pound, this is a price you can't be mad about. And I'm not the only one who does a happy dance when I see these back in TJ's bakery section. The tart and sweet delight generate a lot of buzz online and even come with a clever hack dubbed the "purse fork" technique (discussed on a past TJ's podcast episode), where people bring a fork to the store to eat the cake on the go. Instagram's trader_joes_treasure_hunt posted about Trader Joe's Lemon Mini Sheet Cake, exclaiming "There’s a reason these mini sheet cakes go viral...they’re simply the zest!" Finishing off with another appropriate pun, "Grab one before they peel out!" Many commenters quickly added their thoughts: "Yes, please!" and "It's so good!" Over on Reddit, there is a thread dedicated to the return of the Lemon Mini Sheet Cake, with many commenters expressing excitement: "Too easy to eat it all IN ONE SITTING!!" and "I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS." This sheet cake flavor has consistently sold out within two weeks, so if you're looking to try it this time around, we recommend heading over there quickly and grabbing one (or two) while you can. Just don't forget your purse fork. Explore more: Food News and Trends Grocery Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback! Tell us why! Other Submit
