This $20 The Pioneer Woman Gadget Makes Meal Prep So Much Easier, Walmart Shoppers Say

While I consider myself a pretty avid home chef, my skills on the stove are much better than my skills on the chopping block. It’s not that I haven’t had my fair share of experiences dicing and slicing. I’m just a little more hesitant (read: slow and unsteady) around a big blade, which is why a food slicer has been at the top of my kitchen wish list for some time. 

The Pioneer Woman’s Walmart collection just so happens to have an eight-in-one version that not only tackles a range of culinary tasks, but looks so good on your countertops thanks to its whimsical blue design and vintage floral print that the brand is known for. It’s even a staple in Ree Drummond’s own kitchen.  

The Pioneer Woman 8-in-1 Food Slicer 

The cooking tool, which includes the capabilities to slice, chop, grate, and more, is made from a food-grade plastic with stainless steel blades. Not only does it prevent unfortunate accidents that can occur when using traditional knives, but it also cuts up your veggies, herbs, or other food much faster. Chop peppers or garlic in one fell swoop, and slice a cucumber in half the time it typically takes. 

In total, there are eight different blades, including three sizes for chopping and five interchangeable pieces for slicing, julienne, grating, and shredding. It’s large enough in size (10.71 inches by 5.43 inches by 4.17 inches, to be exact) that you can fit a substantial portion, while the container attached at the bottom of the chopper conveniently stores the sectioned veggies that it spits out.  

The food slicer comes with a safety holder to further protect your hands when slicing, along with storage sleeves for the various blades. Plus, the design is detachable so you can easily pull it apart when it comes time to clean out its interior or blades.

Shoppers raved about the sturdy and high quality chopper, including one person who has difficulty grasping knife handles, which can also leave them in pain. They shared that this gadget makes it much easier and significantly quicker to cut or chop any kind of food, while noting that the blades are razor sharp.  Another person said it makes meal prep quicker and easier, and can be used in so many different ways. A third customer added that it’s easy to use and stores away neatly.
