This is a standard bartender's recipe for Texas tea. It's similar to a Long Island iced tea but uses tequila instead of gin.

Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 1 servings

  • 1 cup ice, or as needed

  • ½ fluid ounce vodka

  • ½ fluid ounce amber rum

  • ½ fluid ounce gold tequila

  • ½ fluid ounce triple sec (orange-flavored liqueur)

  • ¼ cup sweet-and-sour cocktail mix

  • ¼ cup cola-flavored carbonated beverage

  • 1 wedge lemon

  • 1 wedge lime

Directions

  1. Fill a tall glass with ice. Pour in vodka, rum, tequila, and triple sec. Top with cocktail mix and cola. Squeeze juice from lemon and lime wedges over top and stir to combine.
