Original recipe (1X) yields 16 servings 3 cups all-purpose flour 2 cups white sugar 1 cup vegetable oil 1 cup buttermilk ⅔ cup cocoa 2 large eggs, beaten 2 teaspoons baking soda 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 teaspoon salt 1 cup boiling water Directions Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
