This vegetable juice recipe makes a healthy beverage with strawberries and apples for natural sweetness and lime and ginger for a little kick. If you want to save the pulp, juice the carrots and tomatoes in the beginning, then remove the pulp to save for soup. You can add broth, onions, and garlic to the pulp to make a very tasty soup in minutes!

Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 2 servings

  • 3 large carrots

  • 8 large strawberries

  • 1 large tomato

  • 1 large red bell pepper, stemmed and seeded

  • 1 medium apple

  • 1 medium lime, sliced

  • 1 (1 inch) piece fresh ginger

Directions

  1. Place a collection container under the exit spout of a juicer; turn the juicer on. Place carrots into the feeding chute; insert the food pusher and gently guide carrots down the chute. Repeat with strawberries, tomato, bell pepper, apple, lime, and ginger. Turn off the juicer.

  2. Stir juice in the collection container and serve.
