Submitted by Fawn Updated on August 2, 2024 Save Rate Print Share Close Add Photo 4 4 Prep Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 4 hrs 30 mins Total Time: 4 hrs 40 mins Servings: 18 Jump to Nutrition Facts Cook Mode (Keep screen awake) Ingredients 1 (12 pound) whole ham 1 cup brown sugar 1 (8 ounce) can pineapple slices, drained, reserve juice toothpicks 1 (4 ounce) jar maraschino cherries 1 liter ginger ale (such as Vernors) Directions Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Place ham in a roasting pan. Rub brown sugar over ham. Attach pineapple slices to the outside of ham with toothpicks. Use additional toothpicks to secure a cherry into the middle of each pineapple slice. Pour ginger ale and reserved pineapple juice into the pan. Tent aluminum foil over ham.
