Ingredients

  • 6 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks

  • 1 cup white sugar

  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon or to taste

  • 1 tablespoon butter, softened

  • 1 cup miniature marshmallows, or as needed

  2. Place sweet potatoes in a large pot and cover with salted water; bring to a boil.

  3. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until tender, about 20 minutes; drain.

  4. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a deep casserole dish.
