This makes good pork sandwiches when heated with 1 to 1 1/2 lbs of shredded cooked pork loin. I increase it about twelve times to make BBQ pork sandwiches for graduation open houses.

Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 6 servings

  • 1 cup ketchup

  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • 1 tablespoon prepared mustard

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 ½ teaspoons chili powder

  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

Directions

  1. Stir ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, honey, butter, mustard, lemon juice, chili powder, and garlic powder together in a saucepan over medium heat; simmer until hot, about 5 minutes.
