Original recipe (1X) yields 12 servings ½ cup butter, softened 1 ½ cups white sugar 2 eggs 1 tablespoon vanilla extract 3 large very ripe bananas, mashed ⅓ cup sour cream ⅓ cup buttermilk 2 ½ cups unsifted cake flour 1 teaspoon salt ½ teaspoon baking soda ¼ teaspoon baking powder 1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 10 inch tube cake pan. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Stir in the eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition, then stir in the vanilla. Mix in mashed bananas, sour cream and buttermilk.
