You know that waiting inside that wrapper are two toaster pastries, bursting with your favorite filling and often covered with frosting. Sometimes, taking the time to put them in the toaster delays gratification too long, and that’s okay. They’re good at room temperature, too. As loyal as Pop-Tarts lovers are, sometimes they feel as if the brand messes with them. Pop-Tarts discontinues favorite flavors frequently and sometimes brings them back. The Frosted Strawberry Milkshake variety returned to shelves last fall, and those haven’t disappeared again yet. But other flavors, such as Peach Cobbler, left us with no promise of return. When the brand discontinued Cinnamon Roll Pop-Tarts last summer, no one knew if the beloved flavor would return. Fortunately, the flavor is showing up on store shelves, but this time in a new iteration. Cinnamon Roll Pop-Tarts Are Back In a New Size The Instagram account candyhunting announced, “Cinnamon Roll Pop-Tarts Bites are out now!” after spotting them at the grocery store Hy-Vee. “Now, if only the original Cinnamon Roll Pop-Tarts would return.” The full-sized toaster pastries are still discontinued, but a bite-sized version is here. Pop-Tarts described the new version as having "delicious cinnamon roll flavored filling and frosting you love about Pop-Tarts in a bite-sized crazy good snack made to go anywhere." “Do they taste anything like the full size ones that were mad poppin back in the day!?” asked one follower. Candyhunting responded, saying she didn’t buy them because “Hy-Vee's prices are outrageous for Pop-Tarts products.” Fans hope they taste the same, though, because as one commenter put it, “I mourn the cinnamon roll pop tarts every day,” and another said, “I still feel betrayed by the discontinuation of Cinnamon Roll Pop-Tarts.” If you’re a fan of the cinnamon roll flavor, you may need to prepare yourself for an eventual exit because the Pop-Tarts website has the Cinnamon Roll Pop-Tarts Bites under the "New & Limited Edition Flavors" page. If you love this flavor, get it while you can. Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback! Tell us why! Other Submit
