No, it's not a mystery Halloween flavor this time or even a 7-Eleven exclusive. This, time it's taking a note from its vintage roots and bringing back some of that old-school charm we all know and love. Mountain Dew's New Logo Change Mountain Dew recently announced it’s changing its logo to offer a more vintage feel, steering away from its current sharper lines and geometrical shapes to curvier angles and smoother edges, reminiscent of the company’s past designs. This new logo is a big deal for Mountain Dew as it hasn’t been updated since 2009. According to Today, the brand says it’s “reclaiming the mountain” with its fresh new look provided by the design team at PepsiCo. It will also be a “celebration of the great outdoors” and incorporate the soda’s vast history. Starting next summer, fans can expect to see this new logo on advertisements, packaging, and more. However, that’s not all that’s new for the soda brand. You’ll find that this new logo with its green and yellow hues and a scenic forest backdrop complete with mountains and a waterfall, will now also spell out the word “Mountain” instead of the abbreviation “MTN” that we have been seeing. Today also reported this new vision for Mountain Dew comes after the company “conducted extensive research” with its fans in hopes of making its product “more approachable.” So far, the latest packaging has tested well with soda drinkers who favor the Dew as well as Generation Z and millennials. Guess we’ll have to wait for the summer to see what the rest of the world thinks. Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback! Tell us why! Other Submit
