Giovanna Vazquez Title: Test Kitchen Fellow Education: Jefferson State Community College Location: Montevallo, Alabama Expertise: Nutrition and Health, Recipe Testing and Development, Baking and Pastry Giovanna is a part of Dotdash Meredith's fellowship program, working as a recipe tester and developer for Dotdash Meredith. From very early on her obsession with TLC’s Cake Boss brought about a strong passion for baking. Growing up her passion for baking and newfound interest in health led her to schooling under the culinary nutrition degree. During her culinary education she interned for a popular meal planning company, and entered the world of food media in 2022, learning the ropes of recipe development and food styling. Hoping to gather an array of culinary experience she ventured on to work at respected kitchens across the southern United States, and ultimately joining Dotdash Meredith in 2024. Highlights Giovanna is a classically trained chef from Jefferson State Community College. She is passionate about nutrition, has a nutritional education background, and has assisted and created content for several nutritional cooking classes. Has spent her whole life researching and acquiring knowledge in food and kitchen skills. Has maintained a successful cake and baking small business since 2022.
