A fried bologna sandwich. “Now this is a certified hood classic,” the rapper wrote in his cookbook. “A favorite munchie was discovered when I had the bright idea of throwing that bologna in a frying pan. Fry that Oscar Meyer up with some cheese and you’re on your way to a bomb meal, Jack!” It’s not just any fried bologna sandwich, though. Snoop Dogg’s sandwich has a secret ingredient upgrade—because, as we know, all good bologna sandwiches require a bit more than just meat and cheese. Sure, Snoop does top his sandwich with yellow mustard, but that’s not what sets it apart. He ingeniously adds a handful of barbecue potato chips atop the fried meat and melty cheese. We guess Toby Keith isn’t the only one who enjoyed barbecue and bologna together. How To Make Snoop Dogg's Bologna Sandwich Allrecipes Besides the yellow mustard and crunchy BBQ chips, the key to Snoop Dogg’s sandwich is the three slices of bologna and three slices of American cheese. “At first, I thought it was overdoing it with three slices of cheese and three slices of bologna,” said Nicole McLaughlin, who made the recipe. “But—if you’re doing a sandwich like this—then you aren’t really worried about overdoing it. It’s all perfect!” To make the classic sandwich: fry three slices of bologna topped with cheese, until the cheese starts to melt. Then add the fried bologna slices to toasted bread, top with yellow mustard, and your favorite barbecue chips—and as Snoop Dogg says, “go to town.” “You may hate it but it just works,” McLaughlin said. “The savory creamy richness from the bologna and cheese is perfectly balanced with the tangy mustard and crunchy BBQ chips. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Make 3 to 4 slits around the edges of each bologna slice and add slices to the skillet. Cook bologna, turning once, until golden brown on both sides, about 3 minutes.
