August 2024 Yes, I made changes....always do with soups just because I keep my freezer stocked with homemade bone broth which adds more flavor than boughten. Also need color...veggies with some bite to them yet. Started with sauting carrots in orange infused olive oil then added celery and poultry seasoning. Finally added garlic, onions and shallots. Set aside and proceded with recipe as written but using already cooked chicken (also frozen from broth making) and fresh baby spinach. Added veggie mix along with the other additions. Also used lemon salt and fresh black pepper. It turned out sooooo good!! Thanks for the recipe!Don't see how some say too salty....I suspect they might use chicken bouillion/water instead of broth...which can be very salty. Adding lemon will cut the salt. Also, cut a potato in big pieces and cook in soup...they soak up salt like a sponge. Helpful (0) luv2eat reviewed Christina Egan’s Creamy Chicken Tortellini Soup Recipe. May 2024 Great base, our preferences are adding onion, garlic, and little sage and rosemary. And half a juiced lemon. First time used only one can of soup, lately I use 2 tablespoons flour when browning the garlic and onion and add 2 cups chicken broth to replace the canned soup. And can add all kinds of blanched or precooked vegetables. Please tweak away I learn just as much from others who add ideas. I have a picky eater at home so most of my recipes need to be somewhat bland. :) Helpful (9) Southwestern Cauliflower and Ham Soup 11/09/2012 Yum, freezes well and reheats great!!! Helpful (0) Foiled BBQ Chicken with Corn on the Cob and Pinto Beans 07/24/2012 Thank you for the reviews. It is versatile recipe for what you have on hand! I do like the black bean suggestion. I have very picky eaters, which is why there are not alot of spices although glad you all enjoyed! Helpful (3) Delicious Ham and Potato Soup 12/02/2011 5 stars! I added shredded mozarella....best soup ever! Helpful (1) Marshmallow Graham Dessert 04/16/2011 Didn't think I would like it. Ended up loving it. Kept sneaking bites. Only thing is I will make with more graham cracker crumbs I prefer a thicker crust. But that is it I'm in love! Helpful (5) Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies 02/06/2011 That is the best brownie ever!
