Nothing 'wrong' with the recipe but just didn't thrill me tho it was healthy and filling. If I were to make it again, I swap out the potato for rice or pasta. But that would not be authentic of course.

Great basic recipe. I would like it a bit 'saucier' so will probably add some milk next time. I used fresh mushrooms and frozen mixed veggies. Topped with crushed tortilla chips and we had a winner.

Taste is delicious but this is not a recipe for a beginner cook due to all the adjustments that have to be made. As others noted, 3 TBS of orange juice is not near enough liquid to bind the dough. I also agree that orange juice did not add much in the way of flavor. Adding zest would be a good idea. I would go with heavy cream next time for the liquid as well. I would also use a full stick of butter . And why is this recipe written so funny - for Brits maybe Maybe something did not translate well.

Does not get any easier than this. Need a great piece of fish first tho. One can spruce it up as desired but if you want something quick and tasty, go with this basic recipe.

Pretty, pretty good but I would tweak per personal preference. Double the raisins. Add whole can of anchovies (what can you do with leftovers anyway?). I think capers would be an excellent addition as well. Love the basic recipe..just want MORE of it. Did not do the bread crumbs which am sure are delicious. Next time.

Excellent. Wonder why recipe indicates 'garlic divided'. So easy to just dump everything in. Tahini makes this recipe special. I had 15 and 32 oz cans of garbanzo. Not sure they make a 19 oz. available in my area. Not a problem since I tripled the recipe anyway as hubby and I will drink this. I would love to add Greek olives to this. Next time!
