I was concerned about only stirring when boiling only 2-3 times. I took it off the burner the second the temp was 285. The bottom my pan is scorched and some of the toffee is scorched too.Am I the only one who had this happen?

I decided to make this after reading the reviews. I followed the recipe and my husband and I thought it was awful. I threw out the leftovers instead of letting them rot in my fridge.

I used the "Fast Chicken Broth" recipe found on allrecipes.com, and then this recipe to make the most delicious chicken soup I've ever had! Oh, and I didn't use that much salt because of the rotisserie chicken and I use sea salt which I think is better for you.

I loved this recipe as is. In fact, I threaten to make it every night!

The stuffing was very tasty, which was good because that was all that we could eat!!! I didn't know, and the recipe didn't say to par boil the peppers, so lesson learned. Next time I will be cooking the peppers for about 10 minutes, then stuff and bake.
